Small cakes just happened to on my way to drop off one of my grandbabies. Her younger sister's birthday is today and I wanted to get her something sweet to eat on her special day. I ordered four cupcakes and they were deliciously moist and unforgettable. I regret not buying more! Small cakes has made a loyal customer!

Best Cupcakes Ever!
OMG, this place is AMAZING! The cupcakes are super soft, crazy delicious, and the frosting is just chef’s kiss, not too sweet, just perfect! They have so many fun flavors, and every single one I’ve tried has been a winner. The cookies are just as good, seriously addicting!
The staff is super friendly and always make you feel welcome. The shop is cute, clean, and smells like heaven. Plus, they deliver on Uber Eats and DoorDash, so you can get your sugar fix without leaving the house, dangerous but awesome!
If you haven’t been here yet, you’re totally missing out! Whether it’s for a special occasion or just because you need a treat, Smallcakes Richmond is THE place to go!

We happened to come across this wonderful cupcake shop while in the area buying none other than donuts.

Upon entering the shop, we were instantly greeted by Adrienne and Faith. They were so friendly and energetic...posed for a picture, let me take pictures of everything, and explained the flavors..even turned on the Christmas tree lights so I can take a picture.

We came at a weird time (after the gym) in the afternoon and during the weekend, so it wasn't packed. I'd imagine that they have more foot traffic during the opening and before closing time.

There were too many flavors to choose from, but when in doubt, go the chocolate route!! We chose German Chocolate and Red Velvet. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the flavor or texture as I bought them for someone else. They seemed a little pricey, $9.96 for 2 cupcakes...but I guess maybe that could be the average price for a cupcake these days.

They have a rewards program, but I didn't sign up as I don't know when I'll return. Also, there weren't any instant rewards when signing up.

There was plenty of parking in front of and around the shop, shared by other businesses.

Would I return? Yea!! If I'm in the area so I can actually taste one!

TJ was the one helping me today. I thought I was going to go in and leave. But I very much enjoyed the hospitality and customer service as he explained the flavors and the different cupcakes! A+ service

I came in for the first time and when I ordered they gave me a free cupcake. I got the cookies and cream one and I saw how cheap each cupcakes were while they were huge.
