Food was pretty good, but it was my first time. Beef was tough. The rolls were not bad. But the service was beyond first class.

More than just sushi. I have always been a bigger fan of their entrees. There are several I return for. Need to visit again soon.

One of my favorites. Also, do not miss their fried seafood. They understand how to properly use hot oil. The calamari is a must.

7/19/25: Like so many places, they have cut back on spices to save money. I think they have cut back too much. I have never had service this slow. Are they under new ownership?

Excellent place to eat. They have a regular lunch menu as well as all you can eat for only 17.99. The service was top notch. The atmosphere just right. We will definitely be back again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐
Excellent Sushi & Friendly Service at Sushi Hana

If you’re craving fresh, flavorful sushi in Katy/Richmond, Sushi Hana is a must-visit! I recently enjoyed a delightful dinner here, and it exceeded all expectations with its quality, variety, and value.

First, the sushi quality was top-notch—every piece tasted vibrant and well-crafted. Reviewers frequently praise how “fish is always fresh” and that their portions are generous . From classic nigiri to creative specialty rolls, everything I tried was expertly prepared. The combo rice was a standout, boasting a delightful texture and mix of fresh vegetables.

The menu goes beyond sushi too. I sampled the bento box lunch special, which was not only delicious but also excellent value served with miso soup or salad . Whether you’re in the mood for hot kitchen dishes or crispy appetizers, there’s plenty to satisfy every craving.

Service here is consistently friendly and efficient. Staff and chefs are attentive and welcoming, creating an inviting atmosphere that keeps patrons returning. The polished yet relaxed vibe makes it a great spot for family dinners, casual dates, or gatherings with friends.

In short, Sushi Hana offers:
•   Fresh sushi and sashimi – always high-quality and flavorful
•   Great value – generous portions and lovely combos
•   Warm service – attentive staff and a friendly environment

For anyone seeking a reliable, delicious sushi experience in the area, Sushi Hana hits the mark every time. Highly recommended!

There’s an older lady hostess (maybe owner?) that did not appear like she wanted to work there who seated us. We wanted a table with a booth which the table was unprepared/dirty due to previous customer. We waited for her to clean it and she begrudgingly takes a rag and wipes off a small portion of the table leaving the rest of the table dirty. Like how can you just wipe a portion of the table and not clean the rest, which takes less than a minute? Was that too much to ask for? Perhaps to her that’s not her responsibility? At that point we decided to leave and not dine there. She didn’t even seem to care about it either and it shows. When you don’t enjoy what you do it shows in your behavior and actions. How unfortunate for the business. Hopefully this review will help management team do better.

Cathy, Queen of Sushi (and Our Hearts)

First of all — shoutout to Cathy, our waitress, guide, and honorary sushi sensei for the night. My wife Dana had never tried sushi before and was fully ready to play it safe with a cooked dish. But Cathy? Oh no, Cathy had other (delicious) plans.

She patiently walked us through the all-you-can-eat sushi menu like a seasoned pro, explained every option, answered all our wide-eyed questions, and made Dana feel like trying raw fish was not just safe — but exciting. And guess what? Dana loved it.

The sushi itself? Fresh as can be. Rolls for days. We kept finding new favorites with every round. But as good as the food was, it was the service that stole the show. Cathy made the whole experience fun, warm, and unforgettable — like dining with a hilarious best friend who happens to know everything about sushi.

Go to Sushi Hana. Ask for Cathy. Come hungry. Leave happy

If you don't have any choice then come here. I am not going there ever. Let alone sushi, they could not even make a decent crab puff

Decided on the all you can eat option, immediately things took a turn for the worse. Was there just over two hours not by choice but because of little to no service which seemed intentional.
(It wasn’t busy) only got two orders in total when putting in the second order magically there was a bunch of rules that seem to have changed when ordering. When asked for the check an additional 25 minutes went by had to ask for it again. This is not it guys there is much better options when it comes to sushi like Taizzi Sushi or Yaki Sushi. Also seemed upset when not wanting to order alcohol. Just a heads up y’all.
