This business The Catch is closed. I came here on Tuesday 3/1/22 to get some seafood and there was a sign on the door that said it was looking for someone to lease.

Excellent gumbo and catfish. Beautiful decor. Recommend if you like fried seafood. It's a great place with kind employees.

Tried this place out tonight and it did NOT disappoint! The food was amazing. We had boudin balls, shrimp etouffe, grilled shrimp, and cat fish with sausage. The only thing I would say Is it should have been served on real dishes and with real utensils. I hate eating out of styrofoam and cutting sausage with flimsy cutlery wasn't fun!!! I would probably do takeout but not dine in again. It's a Seafood restaurant so invest in some dishes and silverware!!

Passed this place and decided to try for lunch. Tried the catfish dinner meal it was hot and good; nice for lunch for dinner. I did take but that restaurant was nice and clean when I walked in. It's a shame Covid has hurt so many business so please give this place a try. I will like to try other things on menu.

Don't understand the bad reviews. The service was fast. The food was fresh. Best Beignets I have ever had.

I’ve eaten here on two previous occasions and actually thought the food was pretty good so that’s not my reason for the one star, customer service is. I decided to visit this location Dec 26th @ 7:30 pm ( 2 hours prior to their POSTED closing time of 9:30). The blue open sign was lit and there was a guy standing behind the counter at the register but the door was locked. Now I saw him and the guy in the back look at us as we parked but when we knocked on the door they both ignored us. Someone could’ve easily acknowledged and said “we’re actually closed.”That was rude and Poor customer service. Now instead of recommending this spot to people as I have done before I am strongly discouraging people because they obviously don’t need the business.

First time to eat here, we sit outside because it was a nice day. Unfortunately with Arby's drive thru it's hard to carry on a conversation. I think management should put up some speakers or tv. The food was a little overpriced but had a nice flavor.

It’s a LOOOOONG REVIEW- bottom line- don’t bother going to this location. I wonder if they’re going out of business.Let me start by saying that my family loves eating at The Catch. We were so excited to have one open so close by. Then we went last night because we had been bragging to out of town guests.Bad sign 1- the place was completely emptyBad sign 2- the menu changed and eliminated ‘catch’ fish (their signature menu item)We ordered our food and the employee was very nice and said that all drinks were free, including nonalcoholic… (turns out that was Bad sign 3)We paid and then when we got our drinks - - - the ice machine was broken. They did not buy ice and bring in coolers or even buy cans, refrigerate and serve those… just warm drinks.I’m sorry if this seems petty, but it really ruined the experience. The food was great, flavorful, spicy and salty… and we had warm drinks. The employee said she didn’t know when the ice machine was being fixed.

Headed back from a trip to Fred Reyes to Katy and we thought about the Catch on the way home. I found the restaurant clean and orderly with a clear menu of good choices. My wife ordered the crawfish basket and I chose the catfish basket with fried okra. The first impression I had was that the service was good and fast, table and area clean but the basket lunch was rather small. See my picture (sorry half of one filet i sampled) with two small filets and two small hush puppies plus a handful of okra. The taste was okay (uneventful but ok) I did like the okra just expect a bit more for $13. My wife liked her crawfish and fries but I doubt we would be back for another visit anytime soon.

We ordered food to go it smelled good on the way home For what we spent the food looked like it was not freshly fried and taste like it was reheated and the catfish filets was small and the fried crawfish tasted reheated The Gumbo Tasted like box roux or it was scorched but it had a lot of meat in it but not great flavor Red beans was ok but the beans were firm not creamy but had alot of smoke sausage Fried shrimp we had tasted like it was reheated or was sitting a while but they were a good size I think if we had this food freshly made it would have been alot better

This is the most bland food I ever tasted …. I called and spoke with Eric who stated he can’t give my money back unless I drive back to restaurant and bring the food. Well I was on lunch break so I could not! The shrimp was hard and bland their was absolutely no seasoning in this boil!

Giving this place a solid 2 stars. Woefully understaffed with 30 minute wait to get some Cajun seafood. Not coming here again!

“The Cajun Special” with blackened catfish was very good. Generous portions of fish and red beans & rice. Wife enjoyed the grilled shrimp and loved the fried okra. Will definitely be back!
