My husband and I drink kombucha religiously. We always venture out and try all new brands and are very open to all flavors of kombucha. We were driving through town and saw the building and pulled over and went inside to try this brand we’d never had or heard of. We purchased a 6 pack of variety flavors and boy was that a mistake. They are all equally terrible. It’s very unfortunate because we were extremely excited. These kombuchas are bitter, sour, harsh, over carbonated and have a very strong vinegar taste. We have had kombuchas with acv as part of their base and we understand that it can be part of the tasting notes, but this was overbearing. We do not usually leave reviews, and this is the first kombucha we have not liked.EDIT: Thank you for taking the time to reply. But we were not offered any samples when we were there.

For anybody wondering where The Kombucha Co. went- they have moved to a new location at 1405 Avenue I, Rosenberg TX - 77471. They are still working on getting a store front sign put up. So look for a 2 story white building with a black balcony!

I happened upon this spot after having breakfast next door. Inside, there were numerous pots fermenting and making kombucha. There's no seating inside either. I was greeted by one of the staff members, and I asked if I could try out their kombucha product. They had a refrigerator that housed bottles of various kombucha flavors, such as cherry, blueberry, and ginger. I asked one of the staff members which kombucha flavor was the most popular, and he said mango pineapple. He gave me a sample from their tap. It was fruity, fizzy, tart, and just slightly sour. I'm not sure if I tasted mango and pineapple, per se. But, I enjoyed my kombucha sample. I purchased a bottle to have my family try out. Some liked it, and others did not. I think if you haven't tried kombucha at all, come check this spot out and try a few kombucha samples. You might be surprised that you might like it. Plus, it's a great way to get in your probiotics.

Came here on a weekday and sampled a few - mango and pumpkin (seasonal). Their employees were very friendly and helpful. They sell the kombucha by the bottle ($5) or jug (4x the size, $15), and they have monthly subscription options as well. They do request you bring the bottles back if you opt for the subscription. Highly recommend!

If you want delicious, fresh, real non-grocery brand Kombucha come here!! This is a local Kombucha brewery that has stood strong for 5+ years for good reason. They've grown drastically from having a few flavors to multiple and even adding seasonal options! Since they're a direct source they even have on tap their flavors so you can try before you buy! $5 per drink or a box of 6 for $25 and membership deals! Also if they still have this deal: bring your original container and get $1 off for a refill! I'd say all drinks are delicious, but I definitely have my favorites over others. Show some love to this local business!

The staff is so friendly and informative. The wall of Kombucha with all size scobys is a must see. Not sure what a scoby is, I didn't know either until this afternoon. Now I am totally intrigued and can't wait to try all of their flavors. They offer walk-in purchases, an unbelievable membership, Kombucha starter kits and classes. They have great prices and a good variety of flavors. I highly recommend visiting The Kombucha Company and I will definitely be going back. Don't miss out!

Rainwater Scumboochie. Dang good too. Have tried about a dozen different brands. Really quite happy that the best one i've had, just so happens to be hand made a couple minutes down the road from me. We pick up weekly on their subscription plan. Each Sunday, our baby boy goes to play in the back fort area while mom gets coffee next door. Living the sweet life for sure.

I ventured into the Kombucha scene about 3 months ago now and I am very happy that I did. They are extremely refreshing, the flavors are very well balanced, and I feel like it is a very natural way to nurture my body. I sampled the pineapple on tap today and it is DELICIOUS. My go to favorites will always be the ginger and yerba matte, but you truly can't go wrong with any of them. I went ahead and signed up for a membership and these have now become a part of my everyday self care routine.
