This is a really niche market. The owner knows his business and his demographics. Unfortunately, he will be shutting down in December because he just did get the support he needed. The location really is the problem. He has a very niche product in a spot where it is a niche group of people and the two do not match. The location needs to be in a spot where it is consistent with the type of food or where it can see a lot of traffic from all demographics.

Food was fantastic. Some of the most delicious German food I've had in a long time! With that said when I think German Food, I think German beer. While they have a good amount of quality beers. They were all in bottles. I came here thinking I was going to get a nice tall glass of beer instead I was offered a selection of bottled beer.

Hubs comes here periodically for lunch but it was my first time at the brick and mortar. We shared the burger, so freaking good! We had the special fries. They were smothered in cheese and pulled pork and out of this world. Their fries could have been a meal in themselves!

This place has good food but the sides could use some work. The burgers are schnitzel were very good, but the cabbage and spaetzle were very bland. It was confusing because it has two names (and a new sign half covering an old sign with a different name) along with 2 different menus. The place was also a little warm, but it was 105 outside, so maybe the ac just couldn't keep up. I would definitely go back. I just hope they can figure out their branding and sides. I wife like the back wall full of family pictures from Germany.

Fantastic food and great service. No matter If it is the food truck or the brick and wall restaurant. Quality doesn't disappoint you.

Awesome german food. Love the pretzels, Jager schnitzel, cheeseburgers, and brats. Anytime we're in the area, we're there. Amazing customer service. They have seafood too, which one day I want to order but I'm always there for the Jager schnitzel and cabbage. Would recommend to anyone wanting awesome german food.

Don't let this small restaurant in a strip mall fool you. The food and service are excellent, and a good value as well. The atmosphere is simple but the place is very clean.Unfortunately, I'm just passing through this area; otherwise I'd be a regular customer here.

Great authentic German food. They source from the most authentic suppliers available and have a good selection of German beers. Order the Shruben. But you better be hungry because it's a beast!

The food is fresh, excellent tasting. I had one of the "brats", which was delicious. The mustard was spicy but not overwhelming; very good sauerkraut. My spouse had the Jaeger schnitzel which was as authentically German as anywhere else. The fries had excellent spices. A good value as well. The service was great and very friendly. Atmosphere simple, but very clean.

We had the pleasure of having a Medium well bacon mushroom burger and fries from their food truck at the SPJST Trivia night in Needville. The burger was very big, juicy and the fries were great. The whole meal was fantastic! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Wow, stellar and unique restaurant. The lunch special is an incredible value. We had the German pulled pork w/ spicy slaw and Schruben lunch specials. Bring an empty stomach you are going to need it. Have been to a few German restaurants around Houston and generally left disappointed, this alternatively was a real treat.

Best home made saur kraut around. Everything Eric does is centered around quality. And the German beer is fresh!
