Such a fun spot for country music and dancing! The live dj are amazing, and the energy is always great. I love that the place has both indoor and outdoor areas — each with a totally different vibe. Inside feels lively and upbeat with great music and dancing, while outside is more chill and relaxed, perfect for hanging out with friends or taking a break. The crowd is friendly, the drinks are good, and the whole atmosphere just makes you want to dance all night. Definitely one of the best country dance places around!

We had bad experience, Guards are rude and don’t let you in without physical pictures of your driver license, no matter if you have your birth certificate, your social or passport by phone or phone government page, They say NO, in TEXAS is Like that!!!!! So people don’t forget your physical document. I recommend to add the requirements at the main page of this place

I went to this place once and hated it everyone ignored me I was dressed up in nice western wear and nice boots and I felt like I was a ghost the women were so rude bumping into me without even saying excuse me ill never go to this place ever again......worst experience at a bar ever

Spent $300 on 2 tables for my bday and my server had an attitude Everytime I needed something . Crazy to think you I’m wrong for asking for a service I paid for . Never attended me and was just talking to co workers while ignoring us. Never will book a table here Again. Red river can’t get here any sooner

Extremely disappointed and disgusted with Whiskey River West. The bouncer at the door Friday night was blatantly racist and rude. I watched him let a different girl in after she admitted she was 20 HE EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED the fact she was 20 stating out loud your 20 but I’m gonna let it slide , but when I got to the front (also 20), he told me I couldn’t enter. When I called him out on the double standard, he lied and claimed my ID was fake and that I wasn’t even 20 to begin with . Total nonsense. If you're going to enforce age rules, enforce them for everyone not just pick and choose based on skin color. Googling reviews, I saw it was 18+ on some nights, so we thought we were good. Clearly, we weren’t wanted here. The fact that this man is the first face you see walking in says a lot about this place. Do better and hire people who aren’t biased or full of power trips. Never coming back. And I will be reporting him if you are a person of color please DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO PEOPLE THAT DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU I’ve never experienced such blatant discrimination before I am still shocked by this

What a fabulous time! Attended the free Bachata lesson taught tonight by Zach Morris and his assistant Amber. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow and even though it was our first lesson, it was enough for us to feel great dancing on that dance floor tonight. We will definitely attend again. Thanks Zach for a great lesson.
