Mangonadas are delicious!
Definitely come try this place out! Everything is made from scratch! The popsicles, sorbet, ice cream and street corn were all so good! And the owner is really nice!
Nice indoor restaurant. The food was ok, rice with langostoiunes was average (no pieces of shrimp in the risotto, just the taste of shrimp), taco with ox tail and guacamole was good).
We stumbled upon this place on a day trip to Cordoba as the menu looked pretty good. The food choices we made were excellent! The service was not as good, sadly, so that lowered our review somewhat. It's still a place we would recommend due to the quality of the food and the ambiance of the courtyard.
Delicious paletas! 10/10
I can’t really sum up this experience that i just had in this restaurant, but let me try. We had sat down, ordered our drinks- these come relatively quickly, however it took 40 minutes for the waiter to come back and take our order for food, asking multiple times and multiple staff members avoiding eye contact or simply just telling us they would come back and never did. We finally ordered our food after around 10 times of trying. There was then a live singer in the restaurant, which is meant to be lovely however the volume of the singer was beyond belief, we couldn’t hear ourselves. We had also ordered drinks which took 30 minutes to arrive, kindly we was offered these for free after complaining. The food, was actually very nice. Overall the experience was so poor i wouldn’t recommend. The waiters/waitresses need some more training in how to be attentive and provide a good service for the customers. The service let’s this place down as the setting and atmosphere is beautiful along with good quality food.
This pretty courtyard restaurant is the perfect place to have lunch . Lovely staff and tasty food try the langoustine risotto or the Cordoba Steak washed down with a lovely dry Verdejo especially if served by Laura
We came here for a tapas lunch when we arrived midday to Cordoba from Marbella. Great place as far as the food and originality of the different menu choices. But the waiters and waitresses left our table basically unattended and were chatting all the time with friends and workmates not looking once at our table to clean it or see if we needed anything. Just insulting to go to a restaurant and be so badly attended. Without training and supervision of staff this establishment will lose business. Also unacceptable long wait to be served!
This is a great place but located in a very busy area of the old centre. The food was excellent but since there were so many clients it was a long wait to be served and attended. I didn't reserve because I didn't know where to go at noon this day. Worth the wait. Dining room and patio were beautiful. I wasn't treated rudely as other clients seem to have been treated but perhaps it is because I speak fluent Spanish.
I had been recommended this place so we went in person to book for the following night. After being ignored for a while I managed to get someone’s attention who said I need to ring to make a booking. I told them that I knew what time and day I wanted but they would not take my booking. I returned to the hotel within 10 mins and the reception rang the restaurant and made me a booking over the telephone and requested the courtyard. On arriving for our table we were shown to a table in a back room and when I asked re our reservation in the courtyard I was informed that this couldn’t be accommodated. The staff from the girl sitting us down to the people serving us were ignorant. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars is because the food was amazing. The ensaladilla Gambia’s, churrasco Córdoba’s, picava de Angus, croquetones casa, ensalada queso Cabra all amazing, even the bread was delicious. Live local music was great. Such a shame about the attitude of the staff

Today we came in and kindly asked if they could accommodate me and my elderly parents. The server took one look at us and asked if we would order food too. When we said we were just hoping to order a bottle of wine, he said no and completely turned his back on us. So rude to treat customers that way. They had several open tables too. When we were hungry, we considered going back because the patio looked lovely, but we didn’t want to give that man or establishment a dime of our money. Way friendlier places and our worst experience yet in Spain!
We stopped in after reviewing the menu outside the restaurant. Beautiful inside and near full with customers. We stood at the door with no acknowledgment from staff so walked to the bar. We’re told we couldn’t sit in the courtyard. Had to ask why…. Reservations required. We were told we could sit in the bar area and eat. Another table came in waited also in a bar table. They left after waiting for a small while. We asked or I should say we waved at the bar tender and told to wait a minute. A four top walked in and set in the bar area. A waiter gave them service right away and brought them drinks. I then waved as it was loud and could not be heard and the server said one minute. My husband got up to ask if we could get service and was told he had not seen us. Then I saw the first young man who sat us and he gave me “ shoulder shrug”. My husband pushed a stool over in Discuss for being treated so rudely by staff. I worked in food service for over a decade. I am not sure why we were treated this way.
The inside patio is a cool oasis lined with potted plants which let the heat and stress from the nearby tourist sights melt away. The service is average but the two shared dishes we ordered plus drinks came out reasonably quickly. Food quality of a mixed salad and mushroom risotto were ok without being outstanding Waiters went missing after serving the drinks and even tho it was getting quiet, it was a struggle to get someone to prepare our bill
Loved this place! Food was great and Jose make you feel like a princess, he is kind and take good care. Highly recommend
Terrible service from start to finish. Ignored on arrival by seemingly bored and disinterested staff. Drinks were dumped on the table rather than served with a smile. Had to ask for someone to take our food order after 40 (yes, forty) minutes, Food was at best, average and we were also overcharged. Frankly, we couldn’t wait to leave. There are so many lovely, authentic restaurant options in this beautiful historic city. This is definitely not one of them!
