If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I LOVE that it's family owned. The food is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! You MUST try the trashcan burger.
My ONLY complaint is the hours. I HATE that they close at 2p and closed on Saturdays. Sundays, I get, it's Gods day

Rio Smoke is some of the best bbq I have ever had. The pit master is award winning and puts his love and soul into his food. The service is always outstanding! The owners are very customer centric and love to serve the people of their community. It is worth the drive to Rio Hondo!

Great bbq and burgers. We are blessed to have such a great place to grab lunch locally and some of the best bbq I have had. I usually get the rib and brisket plate, taco plate, or trashcan burger. The seasoned fries and beams are my go to sides. If I had anything I'd like to see them improve on its the sides. I do not recommend the Mac and cheese and is why I usually do double beans. It's not cheap to eat here but the portions have always been great and the quality of bbq is top notch. Great place to get seasoning for your home cooks too.

The food was awesome, presentation and cleanliness was on point !!! Not to mention their prices were very reasonable compared to other BBQ places I’ve been to. Definitely recommend can’t wait to be in these neck of the woods soon !!
