There are only 3 main items on their menu and we ordered the Fried Chicken, Chicken Tenders, and the Kid's Meal. The veggies are "bottomless", which means they keep bringing out salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, or corn as you request them. I first thought the price per plate ($18.99) was a bit high, but it's not so bad with all the veggies you want. If you want to share a plate, they charge you $10.99 for the veggie plate.The food was good and the staff was great. They really seem to enjoy kids here. Several little kids went up to the jukebox and the waitresses talk to them and even hold them up for a better view.We came with a large group. Since all of the chicken are served stacked on one large platter (family style), hopefully you like your friends because your chicken is all mixed together.

Babe's have the best fried chicken & chicken fried steak in Roanoke, TX. They have all you can eat sides, silky smooth mashed potatoes, to die for corn, awesome house salad & and melt in your mouth biscuits. You will never leave Babe's saying I didn't get enough. I totally recommend this restaurant to everyone, and most defantlly will be going back. I LOVE BABE'S!!!
