Our team recently visited Los Molcajetes for a lunch outing, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The menu had a good variety of options, including vegetarian dishes, which was great for those of us with dietary preferences. I ordered the vegetarian meal and enjoyed it—the flavors were fresh and satisfying. The only downside was that the rice tasted a bit too salty for my liking. A few colleagues ordered the chicken and beef tamale, and they mentioned that both dishes were quite good.

We’ve been customers of Molcajetes since back in the days they were located on 377. Over the years the quality has consistently gone down, the portions have gotten smaller and the service has gotten worse and worse. There have been bright spots here and there. But, our last visit took the cake. Mistake after mistake, undercooked or missing food and little to no service. I understand they get busy, but we were patient and still having issue after issue. We won’t be coming back.

The back room was where we sat for our party of 23. Service was efficient and prompt. Food was okay. I ordered tacos and they wouldn't allow substitutions which was disappointing. The ground beef on the tacos was very bland. The portion was very large. The back room was too warm. The queso tasted like it came from a can.
