I’m an extremely picky person when it comes to Mexican. There’s good Mexican and then there’s bad Mexican. Maria Del Mar, I would consider, is Great Mexican. I would call their menu a fusion between Authentic & Tex Mex. So many great flavors on the menu.
We eat here a lot and we love it. I would consider this hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in the Keller, Alliance, Roanoke, TC area. In my opinion it’s not even close and I like quite a few places in the area. Name me a place, I’ve been there and Maria Del Mar tops them all.
I don’t understand why it doesn’t ever have a wait, because it’s delicious food. Can’t complain because we always sit down immediately and the food comes out hot & fresh, quickly.
If you’re looking for truly tasty Mexican with authentic flavors, this is a place you need to try. I want this place to stay in business. You should too if you visit!

Great Mexican food and service. Been checking out the local Mexican restaurants, and so far this is the best one I’ve found. Great chips, fantastic salsa and bean dip, and the cheese enchilada were excellent. Highly recommended.

We finally found a Mexican food restaurant we like. We ordered cheese enchiladas and street tacos. Both were delicious. Our server was very nice, but she was so quiet we could barely hear her which made it awkward at times.

My daughter and I are pescatarians, and we are so glad we found a Tex-Mex place that has more seafood options. The food is also very good! We really like the black beans and rice. I took away a star because I'm not a fan of steamed veggies, only roasted, but that's a personal preference. Otherwise, great place!

Good place to have authentic Mexican fare. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is great. We did try the mixed fajitas , salsa n chips and guacamole. The guac and chips was fresh. The fajitas were done right and were flavorful. The house margaritas were also a hit. Highly recommend. A 'will visit again' place.

This was our favorite restaurant until yesterday. I recommended fajitas combo because I had it here before and loved it. This time not so much. Chicken was dry and beef was very chewy. My dish was disaster. Ordered what I thought was taco salad but with fajita chicken instead if beef. What I got for $15 was very wet lettuce with 3 strips of very dry chicken and water down ranch dressing. Should take picture. Wasn't offered something else but got cancelation price - cake. Cake tasted like it was soaked in something, but not milk. I am sorry that this restaurant is not going to be on my favorite list anymore. 😕 Not sure if they got new chef since we ate there last time. But they really need some improvement. Will not dine in here again. Giving server 👍🏻for trying. Cook 👎

Was delicious! Chips, salsa and black beans dip perfect! The Chimichangas super good and the Mexican rice and charro beans with the carne asada was the best ! The food was excelente and Gimena was amazing! For us is the best Mexican restaurant in DFW .
