The GM / proprietor of this establishment needs a lesson in manners and a lesson on how to properly manage staff and his restaurant.

Service was absolutely horrible! There was hardly anyone in the restaurant when we arrived and the order came out piecemeal. Finally, after 35 minutes we finally got all of our order. However, the food was poor quality. The final straw, was the manager on duty berating a young employee for the manager’s failure to manage the on line orders, to go orders and in restaurant customers. Berating an employee in front of customers is never the sign of a professional manager. WE WONT BE BACK!

Palios qouted me 45 minutes for a delivery that arrived in 15 minutes. Unfortunately the driver forgot the 2L of soda and told me he had already been in contact with the store and they were sending someone out right away. 5 minutes later the owner of palios roanoke showed up with my drink, though it was never a major issue with me it was refreshing to see the owner of an establishment step up, and admit a mistake. It shows honesty, integrity, and humility. Great pizza too. As long as their door is open I will be a customer.

I absolutely love the pizza here but I also love the service. They got my pizza wrong and it was really an easy mistake, and I wasn’t upset because all their pizzas are good. The guy who took my order owned it - that’s so rare these days. And the manager was prepared to have another pizza delivered to my home. I opted to just keep what I have, but when I came back in, Daniel, the manager, remembered the mistake, offered to make it right and personally took care of my order. Great service and kindness are increasing rare. Because of Daniel and his team, I will continue to be a loyal customer!

We went to Palio’s tonight for the first time. At 8:15 they were putting chairs on the tables to sweep and mop. We asked if they were closing early but they said they were just cleaning. They advertised on here that Palio’s is BYOB so we brought a couple of beers with us but we asked after noticing they had beer and wine there if they were no longer BYOB. The manager came out and told us they sell it but we could drink our own but they have a $10 Corkage fee. Their beer prices were very reasonable ($3 and $5 for premium) so it would have been cheaper to buy a beer than pay the cork fee. We ordered a meat and cheese deluxe pizza. Unfortunately the toppings were pretty sparse. It was fine. Honestly no better than a frozen pizza you could get from any grocery store. We also had a meatball sub. Again, fine. The meatballs tasted like they came frozen in a bag. The final dish we tried was a chicken artichoke pasta. It was just ok. Not a lot of flavor. For the whole 35-40 minutes we were there they continued to clean the place. But that’s ok, I get everyone wants to go home and we were the only people there. The restaurant was clean and the people were nice and the food was served quickly. All in all I give it a solid meh. Not horrible but in all likelihood I would not go back and spend $40+ tip

It’s calmer setup , and good service with friendly staff. Greek bread was great, and pizza was a mixed experience, may be because of the wheat based crust which is thin crust too, made the taste of the pizza more intense with smoked and burnt taste. The pizzas could definitely use more base sauce, and little more cheese to them.

Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options

Parking: Lot of free parking in the complex itself

I’m pretty particular about pizza, with that said, this place was excellent. I like that their pizza wasn’t drenched in sauce, ingredients seemed fresh, and the crust was really good. I had the Nutty Chicken, I thought it was excellent. They also serve beer & wine. Friendly staff, came around to check on us and make sure all was ok. Good place, will be back for sure.
