This is one of my favorite places in all of north Texas. Got all ready to go today (here on a visit) to find out they are closed and may be for good. If they open back up please go and support them, such great food and fun atmosphere! Long live Twisted Root!
This spot is fantastic! Reasonable pricing, large portions and the employees are regularly very kind.
I visit this great restaurant a lot! This is my favorite spot to to have a good dinner. I visit this place routinely. The food is excellent, the staff members are welcoming and the charge is decent. I enjoy going in this spot for a tasty lunch.
Fun vibe with a creative menu, loved that you can create your own burger or get any pre selected combination with the patty of your choice. I got the Big Tex with the house made chickpea, black bean, brown rice & quinoa burger, it was delicious and a little crispy on the outside which made it even better! Got it with a side of fried pickle chips, it was a lot of food. They played good music! I love that you can try the house-made pickle chips in giant barrels and as many as you'd like. Also got the bananas foster shake, it was so sweet, but a wonderful creation. Will return!
We arrived at this spot for lunch. we heard about this restaurant from many people. Well, it was very successful. we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we shall absolutely come back again. Highly recommended.
Honestly underwhelming. Burgers were ordered at medium, and came out as dry as well-done. The fries were the highlight (actually fantastic), but the rest of the meal was a solid "meh".
Good burger (goat cheese), fries were cold but otherwise great meal.
The burgers, fresh produce and fries are really good. The root beer is crazy good.
I would give a 5 star, except my GF burger bun was very dry and crumbled, perhaps old. The meat had good flavor, and a generous portion. If you are GF spend your $ to upgrade the meat, not the bun. Pickles were delicious - bread and butter my favorite. Homemade potato chips were very light and flavorful. I look forward to trying their Buffalo, and Wagyu. Easy to find, just look for the water tower, right across the street.
The food was just out of this world. The employees enjoy their job and make it fun. The table tops were made for the place. It's nice to be able to enjoy your dinner and not be rusjed.

This place is so amazing the people are great and friendly! This is next level customer service!! And the food ???? oh my bob I love it. I cant eat beef so i love all the different exotic meats they have! This is a constant date night spot for us you just cant beat the service and food and the watermelon tea is bomb af!
I always love TRB! There sodas and pickle barrels are the best. I especially like the ranch flavored pickles. Oh, the burgers are great too
I havnt been in a twisted root in years and it's still just as amazing as it ever was! SUPER friendly staff, good atmosphere and perfect food... I had a veggie burger, and the cashier walked me through how to build my own burger and was very kind and patient.
I am just not a fan of Twisted Root. It had been a long time, literally years, since I had been here. We had company in town that wanted to go here, so I decided we would give it another shot. Great concept and some interesting burger concepts but it all falls apart in the execution.
Worst burger and customer service!
