I always visit this place when I visit my mom in Robstown. They have the best tasting chicken anywhere! The fries are addictive too with the special seasoning that they sprinkle liberally on both the chicken and fries! Mmmm good!
Looking for a place to stop for lunch in our way home from SPI to SA, I read about this tiny place in Robstown that was featured on Texas Eats. Giant chicken strips with creamy chicken gravy? Yes please! We called ahead about 20 mins out and our order was ready for takeout when we arrived, piping hot and fresh. Wow the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. NOT heavily breaded. Just dusted with flour and delicious spicey "sprinkles"?. The skin was super crispy, chicken cooked just right and the fries were also sprinkled in the great spice. They have delicious gizzards and a gravy to die for. Can't wait to go back someday just to get some chicken.
