This place is disgusting and overpriced. Food portions are child size at best, and the whole restaurant is filthy. First time I've eaten there in a few years and the place hasn't just gone downhill, it's fallen off a cliff. Dead bugs and flies everywhere, water dripping from ceiling, all around filth. Food was eatable, but only slightly warm and not very good at all. Went to the restroom to wash my hands but decided my hands were probably cleaner than the soap in the dispenser. Very disappointing experience.

We stopped in on Friday to have dinner before the football game. My family has been through plenty of times and this was one our favorite spots. The building smelled musty and there was a bucket catching a leak in dining room. We sat down and the server literally took one drink order at a time. After finally getting drinks and putting in our food order we didn't see our server again. Plates came to the table and my Chicken fried steak was delivered with no steak knife and no butter or other condiments. After waiting a good 10mins and no server I went to find her to ask for what was needed. I couldn't understand with 2 tables in the whole place why service was lacking...both servers were behind the counter, one sitting down, on their phones. She gave me what I asked for and we did not see her again. Before hitting the road I went to use the restroom that. It was so dirty and the whole area smelled awful! There was trash overflowing and I was scared to use the hand soap. Coming out of the bathrooms the door to the kitchen was left wide open and on the floor was a pile of celing material that had collapsed due to again water damage. It was not a good experience and the lack of cleanliness left a bad taste in my mouth. It had definitely gone downhill in the past few months.

Walked inside no one to be found to be seated or to get menus or anything. Was so disappointed wanted to try this place but stood at the counter for 20 mins and no one showed up to wait on us. Finally left I guess they don't out of town business here.

Food was fine. Staff forgot about me. The problem is the building. FILTHY. Insects everywhere. Dead crickets cover the floor and the living ones are extremely loud. A cricket landed on my table.

Got hungry, saw this little roadside hole-in-the-wall. Pulled in at the last second when i saw all-day breakfast. Food was pretty good!Some ol' locals were cuttin' it up laughing the whole time. Made my day!
Ordered 6 piece shrimp with two sides. Cost $25. Shrimp were so small that they were hiding under their bumpie bread. Good food but way over priced.

When my father worked at Alcoa/TU Electric they would order from here all the time and bragged about how good it was, so we tried it out. Maybe it was an off day but our food took for ever and they didn't have everything that came on 2 of the plates. My CFS didn't look anything like the pictures everyone posted. It was tiny and overcooked. I was hoping for a real chicken fried steak. You know, one that is almost to big for the plate. And to top it all off, the mashed potatoes were box "potatoes"! All this leads me to believe that the sign in front of the store that says best hamburgers is probably not true.

This place Usually is on point. This night I was very disappointed, order was wrong, and portions were even smaller than lunch portions although the price was dinner pricing. Very disappointed. Chop steak was child sized. And the catfish was a rubbery hard meal to eat. Not good on this night
