10/10 would recommend. We visited Rockport for the first time for my husbands birthday / our baby-moon and we were excited to have great food throughout our stay... but were a little disappointed with a few of our first choices. That was until we started asking locals where the best food in town was. Several people pointed us to Copano's and it did not disappoint. We ordered the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, which were a great portion size and so good. My husband got a glass of cabernet, and their wine prices were super reasonable. Then for main courses, I got their 7 oz Filet which was cooked perfectly - tender and juicy. And My husband got their scallops, which he said were melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We finished off with their seasonal dessert of a MASSIVE chocolate brownie topped with ice cream... and when I tell you it was the best brownie we've ever had I am not exaggerating. Our server, Arianna, was some of the best service we have had in a long time. She explained all the specials, was prompt and personable (despite being triple sat) and checked on us at all the right times. Some people are just GREAT at serving, and it makes the whole experience - Arianna is one of them.
We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends.

The atmosphere added to the experience—clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with just the right balance of energy and relaxation. It was the kind of place where you can enjoy both a special celebration or a casual evening out. Food was perfect and I highly recommend the cheesecake drizzled with berries.

had the 14 oz new york I order it medium well by the time it came back after the 3rd time the stake was burnt and hard as a rock, but in between sending it back the owner came over and apologized and said he would comp it, the steak was 49.00 dollars and this doesn't even include a salad. The waitress i had was very professional and friendly., personally i know you can get the same cut of steak at Texas Roadhouse for half the money, I personally will never go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed Copano’s!
The menu offered a wonderful selection and all in our group enjoyed the appetizers and entrees. We were impressed by the staff and the welcoming atmosphere created by the patrons. Copano’s is truly a wonderful place to have an excellent meal.
We will be back every time we are in Rockport.

I just happened to find this restaurant while my wife and I were in Rockport for the weekend and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere was excellent. From the decor and design to the music it was perfect. The food was delicious as well. Everything that we had was great and I would get again. And the everyone there was so kind and helpful. The hostesses, our waitress Robin, and even the owner whom we briefly met. It was overall an excellent experience and I’ll certainly be going back.

What a GREAT dinner we had on Saturday night!!! The baked oysters were fresh & seriously baked to perfection!!! The Black Drum was divine - obviously OH SO FRESH - no Sysco fish here!!! The garlic mashed potatoes & broccolini just took it all over the top!! We asked for a different table and they accommodated us quickly & had drinks quickly too!!! This is a must stop!!! Loved the owners!!!

Food was PERFECT. I had the chicken piccata (which two people can split) and my husband had the blackened drum. The drum was absolutely stunning. Our bartender was great too. Shout out to Shelby!
We had been to a place that didn’t have the best very satisfactory customer service so we decided to try Copano’s. Soooo glad we did! Try the Caesar salad I came all the way back just for a 2nd visit. Definitely a must. Casually upscale

Great spot in Rockport. This place used to be named 495 Chesapeake. It has the same great atmosphere, the same great food and the same great owners. Highly recommend this place for date night,business dinners, hanging with family, etc. The black drum is amazing.
