July 4, 2025 at 1:28 pm. Arrived at the “Bar B Que Shack,” 701 Palmetto Avenue, Fulton, Texas 78358. We were seated promptly and our friendly waitress took our order promptly (As usual). Ordered the BBQ 2 Meat Plate (Ribs and Lean Brisket) and 2 Sides that my wife and I shared at $17.85 plus tax for this great plate. Like I said, every time we go we always get seated promptly and served promptly! Dependable place to get great food from Burgers, Fish and BBQ! Highly recommend! GO There!

I have a College Degree with a BS in Management and have been trained in two Culinary Schools, to include on the job training at other venues. I’ve managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have had my own successful Catering business. As a Culinary Trainer, I have trained personnel on how to provide superb cuisine and sales and customer service. At the age of 78, I am now retired and enjoy being on the other side of the Apron.

Had the Bar BQ Shack cater an event for us in Corpus Christi and they did not disappoint. By far one of the most reasonable price quote and the best BBQ I've had from any place in Texas. Can't wait to try the banana pudding next from them.

Soooo delicious!!! I had the brisket, sausage, and chicken with beans and potato salad. It was a ton of food. I'm stuffed and can't wait to be hungry again so I can have 2nds. The waitress was also amazing and very sweet. My favorite bbq place!
I am a little disappointed with this very popular BBQ shack. The best food they have is the loaded brisket potato and their brisket sandwiches.Their on line menu does not match the menu in the restaurant. We ended up paying close to $65 for a brisket plate, a fish and shrimp plate and 18 wings.The wings were soggy. I am not sure if they got reheated or tossed in hot oil. The breading was soggy. The fish and shrimp plate was good but again you could tell it was cooked in old oil. So disappointed.They really need to step up to their menu, prices and their cooking methods.When we asked about their menu prices they all threw up their arms and said we don't do Google. It is what is it! Wow! So Google, please contact this restaurant.

Honestly, it's one's of the best places I've eaten in a long time. Service: Great! Waitress attentive and friendly! Staff was courtesy and welcoming.Food: Food didn't take long to get served...❤️, we had fish tacos, loaded baked potatoes with and without brisket, and appetizer sampler of our choice. we picked the fried mushrooms, fried pickles , jalapeño poppers with a side of wings..❤️, the banana pudding is a must try as well!Atmosphere: love it. Quaint, welcoming, and you feel comfortable not rushed while diningI can see why this place has great service and staff.... I had the opportunity to meet the owner. All I can say is I wish more businesses had owners like him.Thank you, Patrick. My co-workers and I will definitely be returning, and I will be bringing my friends and family over as well soon.
