This + Hu-Dat is a must-try place in Rockport. We go every time we're in the area. Everything we've tried has been stellar, from the pho, to the noodle dishes, to the gator, and calamari. Everything has been so good. The atmosphere is always lovely, the staff are always friendly, and the food comes out hot and fast. The prices are what you should expect for the quality and quantity of the food. The portions are large enough to feed 2 people most times. The calamari, fried gator, and the fried oysters are my favorites that I get every time. The pho is homemade and authentic, and has an incredible depth of flavor. The Happy Family is flavorful, chock full of meats and veggies. You can't go wrong here.

Hostesses are so rude. I’ve been in twice and both times I said I wasnt Coming back. But the food was good though the servers can’t keep up. I’ve never been greeted or sat by the most miserable people in my life except for these two times. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth from the jump. The food keeps you coming back.

Went there to try and grab lunch. Food is usually good. Place was a little busy but multiple tables open. Girl that was working the entrance ( young dark hair) said it will be 5-10 minutes. I asked about the empty tables she said “yeah those are the 5-10 minute wait”. What? We waited 15 minutes while she talked to a young girl sitting on the bench next to her. She was complaining she was tired and how much she did not want to be here. Got tired of hearing her complaining. We walked out. No questions. didn’t acknowledge us walking out. Management. Please address your front of house greeter! You lost money that day.
