Great look great people great atmosphere but I noticed stuff that stuck out to me. I ordered the Charlotte Burger cause everything else didn’t sound that good, upon my first bite the bun was rock solid and after a few bites of my burger, a familiar taste was sprung to my taste buds. H-E-Bs fully cooked original beef burgers was being used. Along with the burger I noticed the fries were also from H-E-B. Now usually I wouldn’t mind H-E-B bought food products but when you spend 14.99 on the meal it definitely isn’t what you want to eat. My siblings were also here and they had suspected their chips that came with their club sandwich was Ruffles. not ideal. Don’t get me started on the wait, 30 minutes to get a table and not even a big table it was 2 separate tables for a restaurant that was very mediocre actually barely mediocre. The prices were through the roof. And by the time we ordered it took another 30 or so minutes to get our appetizers. And the drinks the only thing that was going for them was water all sodas were diluted and flat. Around the time we left a mystery juice dropped on my fellow family member. Waiter was really nice and the people were amazing and friendly if only their food was like that too. Not worth the wait not worth the price i was here for a good meal and a good time only one was satisfied and it definitely wasn’t the meal. It was this and whataburger and i’m taking whataburger a million times over. It’s always good to take a gamble on new places but today the house took my money. The photo I added was of the HEB fries.

Decent food. Very good crab cakes. Sweet tea not on menu? Would go again. Get a seat by the harbor. 🤠

After a long hard interview, it was easy to walk across the street to Charlotte Plummers. Note to self, never take the easy choice.
First, the restaurant was nearly empty at 7 pm on a Thursday. Service wise there should've been no issues, but we hardly saw the wait staff. I needed something meaty without it being seafood. I inquired about the catfish and the waitress said do not order the catfish because the breading comes off and it is tasteless. I opted for a cheeseburger with fries. Meh. The fries came out cold. The burger itself had a good flavor, but it was not piping hot like it just came off the grill. They could not do a whiskey sour, even.
While we had a bay side table, when the food doesn't complement the view, you walk away disheartened. It is truly sad since Charlotte Plummers has been in business for years. The food disappointed, along with the service. Thus, the lack of a food photo and a departing morning photo of the restaurant.

Most of my life everyone raved about Charlotte Plummer’s as THE seafood destination on the Tx Gulfcoast. Meh. Food was obviously pre prepared , kept under heating lamps, “the plate is hot” like in Mexican food restaurant . On par with say, Sea Island chain in San Antonio. $90 for 2 not even close to price/value. Our server was very nice and attentive, the only positive.
The food was not as good as expected. Fairly good just not impressive. The atmosphere was not conducive to conversation. It’ll be my last visit here. Our waitress was the only stand out, very attentive and friendly.

Disappointed in the oysters, served on a silver tray, not on half shell. Do not order grilled fish tacos. Muddy looking dark flesh fish of some kind, no seasoning and dry and leather like on the outside. It had both lettuce and cabbage slaw. Pick one, it didn't make sense. The mango salsa was the only thing good about it. I expected more from a so called seafood restaurant right on the water

Waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged, no water was served while waiting another 20 minutes for 2 beers and 2 teas! We ordered fried flounder with 2 baked potatoes. The fish was raw inside and the potatoes were hard like a rock. When we told our server about the meal, we were told that because they were busy ,if we wanted the same meal cooked properly we would be waiting behind the other people that arrived, because they were busy!! Bottom line, if you like bad service and even worse food this is your restaurant.

First, the best. The service was excellent.
There was a pretty decent salad bar. I miss salad bars. I didn't do the salad bar but it looked good.
Ordered the Oyster stew. Extremely bland, I salted the bejesus out of it. It was also was luke warm.
I ordered the flounder. I had wanted the stuffed flounder but I guess I didn't convey that. My bad.
The flounder was bland and luke warm. The baked potato was luke warm and the butter didn't melt. The vegetables were luke warm and bland.
My wife had tomato basil, it was luke warm. And the linguine Vera Cruz was mostly red onions, which is a trick cheap restaurants do to give a dish volume. Also, the pasta was greasy (and luke warm).
It seems that:
A. They don't have heat lamps
B. They don't have seasonings.
Also, What is That Smell!? It smells like sewage outside the restaurant and you can smell it inside as well.

The food selection has a variety of seafood and the views from upstairs look out over the water. We went with the calamari as an appetizer and it was crispy and hot on arrival. It was a nice place to stop and eat for a weekend lunch.
