Brisket was sub-par. Peach Cobbler was good. If you want GOOD brisket go to one of the other places in town.

Honestly , I’m not one to leave reviews but I think that the menu should really specify what all comes in the plate , as well with having a some sort of reference of how much a pound or half a pound can feed people if they want to do weight service with food , customer service was bad I know us as customers or clients or whoever it may be , we may ask stupid questions but it shouldn’t be answered in a rude way.

So I got a brisket plate,
I personally feel like it wasn’t that good for the price. It’s over priced at that.
The brisket taste too dry and not a lot of sauce, Mac & cheese taste weird and fake.
And the mashed potatoes tasted blah and felt tough like you didn’t really mash them or something.
I don’t think I will be coming here again. Sorry.

Staff was very friendly and helpful for a first timer. Greeted when we arrived and left! Food was very delicious I enjoyed every bite! Will be back.

The BBQ is fantastic and the sides are fantastic as well. We are here in the Rockport area for a month and I found them by internet search. We went through the drive through to pickup 2 plates that we could eat back at the RV Park. Service was great. The parking lot is a little small if you are dining in, but I highly recommend a visit here if you are a Texas BBQ lover. It's difficult to find good BBQ in coastal towns and this one is really good.

Best BBQ you'll find in rockport.

I've lived in this south Texas all my life..And I know what great BBQ is cause of MRS CHARLIE'S BBQ in ingleside as a kid....she was the best, GOD REST HER BEAUTIFUL SOUL crazy to look back and not know how good something was cause until its gone... and cause I was a kid....BUUUT no one let's me down in BBQ more than MACS BBQ IN ROCKPORT TEXAS....not only did the ADDITUDE of the skinny girl at the window sucked...id never have trash people at the window to represent my establishment like her..FOH go wash some dishes or toilet's💯...but she probably family......but.the pound and a half of BRISKET SUUUUCKED TOO...I always give the benefit to them maybe they just had a off day...but they never let me down with the BAD quality of BBQ...like they dont cook or SMOKE it LONG ENOUGH....and it tasted like oven not smoked.....and NO LOVE OR LOW AND SLOW.....and I MENTIONED this to the CHUNKY ASS BIG MEXICAN owner that he should leave it smoking another 2-3 hrs one day and he looked at me like I was crazy😹😹😹....I was just being HONEST.sucks that's the only choice during the week.....NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK IN MY LIFE....THAT PLACE HAS BURNED DOWN IN MY HEAD LIKE THE ORIGINAL MACS IN GREGORY-PORTLAND BURNED DOWN....but the only DIFFERENCE is the one in Portland was the very DELICIOUS 😿😔😿💀..... I STILL DONT KNOW HOW THIS PLACE STAYS OPEN SERVING MEDIOCRE BRISKET and having trash people running it....I guess people are easily amused....RIP MRS CHARLIE 🙏🏻🙏🏻🕊🕊🕊...and go to STEWIE LEWS OR GUMMIES IN RPT for BBQ. ...brother Mathew at STEWIES LEWS are fantastic. ..good people good BBQ..🙏🏻💚🍻

First time here, on vacation! The ladies services serving are really nice. Good food servings. Mac and cheese and sauce had no flavor. For the price, they could do better on flavor
