Walked in super smoky! They need a new ventilation system. We sat down and waited 20 minutes for them to take our drink order. After another 15 minutes of waiting for our drinks The waitress stood on one side of the table and told us to hand each other our drinks she did not pass them out. We ordered a tea for my 2 year old granddaughter and the server brought her a 32oz cup. Really? Then we open the chocolate milk for my 2 year old niece and it was curdled. Expired in February. We asked for another one and it was brought to us with an array of attitude. All she did was bring us another expired milk. At this point we all got up and left. Horrible service! We will never be back!

Food 4+, best rating from me of any Mexican Food in the area. Everything on my plate was good. Crispy beef taco, meat was piping hot and well seasoned, cheese enchiladas and chalupa were good as well. FYI: If you like salsa with a bite, ask for the green with your chips. They will bring it with the meal but for me it's much better than the red they first bring out. Service is good and food is as reasonably priced as I have found. I'm somewhat new to the area and have not found a place that really impressed me. I think I have found my 'go-to'. I had been by this place numerous times but never stopped, I live out the other side of town so it is not close by. Today I made it a point to go there, and glad I did. The outside resembles some restaurant you would find on a dusty street in some little town in Mexico, inside nothing fancy but clean. I would refer to it in the U.S. as a "hole-in-the-wall", that's meant as a complement, usually where you find some of the best food, as they focus on food not fancy and why I gave atmosphere 5 stars.

I understand places not allowing dogs into their establishments. However, denying service to a U.S. service veteran and his daughter because he has a trained service dog is a really bad look. It’s also against the law. The state of TX does not permit you to require “papers” to prove subscription of a service dog. Not only can this cost you customers, you could be fined.

The food was very good. We didn't get the ladies special like we ordered, but what we got was 2 green enchiladas with rice and beans. Very tasty but was about $3.00 more in price than what we had ordered.
