Food was excellent! Server was a gem! The score would have been a 5 except they currently allow smoking where the food is served however, a posted sign says that smoking will no longer be allowed starting January first.

Pop's Place by far has the best fried oysters around (when in season). You are given a choice as to how you want your oysters fried (soft, medium, or crispy). Delicious! The service is great, the atmosphere is friendly and laid back.

No BS place, and its awesome! The staff was all super nice and friendly, our food came out quickly and it was top notch. We had the catfish po boy and a fried shrimp basket, they came perfectly fried: crunchy and flavorful, without any spec of oil. We'll definitely go back to try other dishes.

Took a road trip just for lunch, and it was totally worth it. The place was packed, but Cheryl handled the rush like a pro—super friendly and on top of everything. The burger? Absolutely outstanding. Might just make this drive a couple times a week. Pops for the win! 🍔👏
