i went in to ask baout the menu and prices and the waitress or whatever was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to busy to be bothered with me as i was the 3rd person there. she was busy propping her leg up and talking casually with some people sitting down. and i looked around and the 4 of us were the only ones there. i started to raise my voice to get her to pay attention to me but i figured if the owners are ignorant enough to hire people like that then they must not be there to serve food. they are there to be AN ITEM and look fancy to themselves. where i come from looking fancy is at PAPPADEUX.

Food, service and music was great. It wasn't busy when we were there towards the end of business day and they only had 2 chicken fried steak dinners left. Since there we're 4 adults and we all wanted to order that, it was disappointing but ok because the other food we ordered was good too. We will go again.

Witnessed the waitress loudly complain about the tip her customers left her. The customer and her daughter were still in the restaurant along with all the other customers who could hear. Not sure what the bill was or the tip but just thought it was extremely rude and unprofessional of the waitress. I would definitely not come back nor recommend if that's how customers are treated there. Nice first impression.
Fantastic place to eat and drink a great beer. steaks just right. I highly tell people to come here specially if you are and oldie but goodie fan

We were passing through and stopped by happen chance, it was a great decision! The food was REALLY really good, my kids devoured their burgers, the fried shrimp was excellent, I had potato soup and it was awesome. Our waitress was very attentive and very nice and there was a nice gentleman from the back who always asked how we were when he was passing through. Our next visit to rockport will definitely include another stop here!
