SR Boilhouse made our Christmas season extra special. The food was outstanding, the portions generous, and the service warm and friendly. Such a great place to gather with family and enjoy a delicious meal. Five stars!

First time trying this place, our waitress was very attentive and provided great service, with that being said....to say the food is sub par is an understatement what wouldve been 100 dollars came with rubbery shrimp, uncooked veggies and rotten sour corn, by the time we noticed we had already eaten a few shrimp but everything was cold and the shrimp was overcooked at the same time (make it make sense) anyway they gave us a partial refund which was fair until we spent the whole night with a stomach ache, thankfully we had some activated charcoal pills and that helped a little but for the location of the restaurant i wish they had better food but never again.

Mediocre at best. Didn’t get our waters until half way through our food, shrimp boil wasn’t cooked completely (somehow managed to be cold?), crackers were a bit stale, and when the server brought a lime for the beer, she made sure to hold it in her fingers vs using a ramekin.

I’m Lance Waldo, one of the senior judges for the Southern Crawfish Cook-Off Association (SCCA), and I recently had the pleasure of dining at SR Boil House in Rockport with a large party.
The entire experience was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, and the atmosphere was perfect for a true Gulf Coast feast. The food itself was nothing short of amazing—fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. As judges, we taste a lot of crawfish, gumbo, and Cajun-style dishes throughout the year, and SR Boil House set a very high bar.
Our group sampled a wide range of items, and every plate was a hit. The flavors were authentic, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. It was the kind of meal that reminded us why Rockport is such a special place for seafood lovers.
Whether you’re a competitor, a fan of Cajun cook-offs, or just someone who enjoys top-notch food, I highly recommend SR Boil House. They know how to do it right.

Kaylin our bartender she was fabulous. The food was great. This is our first time here she made my double check and Coke is short to perfection. She was just all around great smiles. Very customer service friendly. If you’ve never been here, this is definitely I recommend a stop.

Good home-style seafood boil. Shrimp, mushroom, and potatoes were great. Crab was slightly over done. Make sure you can handle the spice. Mild was more than enough for the faint of heart. Good place to grab a beer and watch the game as well.

Got a great dinner and a show. We brought in our catches to be cooked, and they were prepared beautifully! Drunk man at the bar caused a scene, but management had him gone within moments. Our waitress, Carmen, was the sweetest and super helpful! Definitely coming back!

The SR butter was to die for, shrimp boil had large shrimp and was amazing. The edamame was really good. The gumbo was awesome as well. Our waitress Carmin was very helpful in suggesting food choices, she is such a ray of sunshine. Very nice clean place. All in all a fantastic addition to Rockport.
