Visited Hawk Donuts today, and I was a little concerned because the shop was small, dark, and old. Lady serving was friendly and helpful, so I bought something. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. I was given a sausage roll that was not only old, but the bread around it failed to rise. My fist bite tasted like unprocessed, uncooked flour, and the bread had the flat look that happens when one cooks old yeast. Upon inspection, the sausage was dried out and old too. they now have all beef kolaches, Donuts are made fresh daily so good.
