I got a Philly steak calzone, the meat tasted like the cheap frozen Philly steak in a box in the frozen section of the grocery store. My husband got the meat calzone and it was good.

What a disappointment, I followed recommendations to try pizza cucina, they charge me $28.15 ( see ticket) for medium Hawaiian pizza, they didn't said, they were short handed, till I called an hour later asking where's my pizza dude? That's when they told me they have only one driver, if he said that from the beginning I pick it up myself, or maybe not, because it's too small for the price, aleast it was good, but definitely no worth the price and delivery time, plus if you do the math they tax me after the deliver fee, lol, I was taxed for delivery, just beware.

We frequently travel the 10 miles each way from South Rockwall to get what we thought was the best pizza in town. It was close to the NY style I grew up on. Last Sunday we ordered a large pizza and were sorely disappointed when we got home. The pizza was dried and over baked. The pepperoni slices were hard and brittle. I hope this was an anomaly as we always consider Pizza Cucina the best in the area.

Our first visit and very impressed! Coincidentally, it was the official first day for the new owners. I can't compare to prior because... Duh, it was our first visit. :) That said, my wife and I split the Supreme Calzone and really enjoyed it. The dough for the calzone was extra delicious and the side of tomato sauce while not spicy was quite flavorful. The new owner told us that they make their own dough each day. It sure was good! A nice little serendipitous lunch spot!

EDIT - Your response is filled with lies. Just wanted credit for the pizzas (both were destroyed, see pics) and the driver was long gone. You stated several times in your response people lie and exaggerate. I stated facts and admitted my husband got upset after you thought he was lying.Your words..."Customers are people, and people lie all the time""People like you exaggerate and make things to be much worse than it is"Is what it is. Moving on.Manager wanted proof that our pizzas were ruined. Being accused of lying is not fun. Not wanting to wait at least another hour for food we didn’t want the driver to come and pick them up to provide proof so they could make two more. Husband lost his temper after being accused of lying. $100 total order $15 tip. I usually only post good reviews...Manager insisted on proof; here you go. Things happen but being treated like that was unacceptable.

Honestly, the best pizza in town! The owner works super hard is always there and you could taste the freshness in the ingredients. The dough and sauce I was told is made in house and you could taste it because it's the best crust I've ever eaten. It wouldn't hurt to try and support this small business they are very friendly and deliver promptly.
This place is definitely worth exploring. They had many other options on the menu, and there was no disgusting grease/oil that you see dripping off of most of their pizzas.

Pizza Cucina has a premium price point but their pizza comes with premium ingredients! The cheese they use is amazing! I personally get their sausage and jalapeno pizza (with ranch) and cheese bread with marina sauce. Great food and very nice delivery drivers.

This is the only pizza place we order from...it's that good! Great pizzas, love-love the chicken Alfredo pasta and the chicken Caesar sandwich, also the calzones are great! Asked for the wings extra done and they're good, too. Also, I recommend ordering delivery directly from them (as opposed to a food delivery service).
