I have driven by without stopping for a few years, but yesterday I made a point to stop in. Really nice people and great atmosphere. I grabbed a chopped beef sammich, chips and a Coke for the road. Wow what flavor! They have excellent BBQ here. I didn't need the BBQ sauce. The portion was great too. This is a stop on my route to the Metro Plex from now on!
We have eaten here twice dine in and several times for take out. I have no complaints, the food is just awesome. Their bbq is amazing, but let me tell you, their burgers are ridiculously good. You may miss Rosebud if you blink, but you don't want to miss this little gem. The building doesn't look like much, but trust me, great food and great people.

Lil Joe’s is Huge on Friendliness, Flavor & Value!Brisket has perfect char and very moist; big ribs, also great char, basically fall off the bone; sausage (pork?) great seasoning; beans looked too thin but surprised me with their flavor; coleslaw crispy and fresh…even the tea actually tasted like tea, not dark water.And the folks are wonderful!Have enjoyed Q all over Texas but few can match Lil Joe’s on price, flavor, or quality!
