Saw the reviews and that the restaurant was open (650pm). Placed order online. Arrived at pick up time listed for ETA and the building was closed, lights were off, and parking lot empty. Charge still went through.

The food IS really good!! It is so hard to find good seafood! We thought they had closed after going by several times and they were not open. Finally, found out they are still in business! They had some kind of plumbing issues. Ate there today and loved it!!

Anthony's Seafood. On Lane Drive near 90 in Rosenberg. Y'all have got to go there and help me keep this place open. It's cute and clean and my small order of shrimp tacos is a massive amount of food for the money and very good. I'm sitting on the patio because I won't take my mask off inside buildings, but the inside is very clean and neat and cute. The patio is nice too, although of course it's got a lovely view of the parking lot on the left in the parking lot on the right. Around here, what are you going to do?

I had gumbo. The chicken was dry and tough, the sausage was greasy and the shrimp as pre cooked then added to gumbo. The roux had no flavor. The red beans and rice tasted the same as gumbo roux. My wife had fish and shrimp fried with hush puppies..the fish was over cooked and tough. So was the shrimp. The hush puppies were not fluffy but dry. We think that the quality of the ingredients were poor to begin with and the cooking not good. Our waiter was trying so hard to deal with bad situation. Our opinions were not isolated from hearing other diners. We hope that this new seafood restaurant makes it. However we would expect them to only be open 6 to 9 months at most unless many changes made. There are other issues besides the price being too high for the area.

Delicious! My husband had coconut shrimp and I had fried shrimp. So good. Definitely going back to try the blackened fish tacos.

Got the grilled shrimp tacos and they were outstanding! I got the large order and there were four tacos and I couldn’t finish, but I will definitely will go back!

The food was really good! The coconut shrimp was cooked to perfection and the sauce with it was the perfect compliment. I got the fried okra and hush puppies as my sides and I was definitely satisfied! The okra needed a touch of salt but had a good crisp outside with a tender inside. The hush puppies were very good, and hearty. I have to say that they give generous portions and I left the restaurant feeling full. My husband got the oysters and fish combo and wasn't disappointed in either. His green beans were delicious, and the jambalaya rice made a brilliantly flavorful addition to the meal. My only complaint was that the atmosphere could use a little work as the music was a tad loud, and the walls are still bare.

My wife and I went to Anthony's today for lunch and it was every bit as good as we had hoped it would be! I had the Fish and Oysters combo (3 catfish filets and 3 oysters, even though it actually came with 5. Bonus!), with green beans and jambalaya rice for the 2 sides. My wife got the Coconut Shrimp combo with hushpuppies and fried okra for the 2 sides.I'll start with the negatives, since there were few. I didn't much care for the green beans, but that's just me. I also didn't like the okra, but I haven't liked okra since I was a child and I still try it from time to time to test if that's changed. With that being said, everything else was fantastic! The catfish and oysters were fried just right, with the catfish not being too crispy and the oysters not being too soft. The jambalaya rice was awesome and the hushpuppies were firm, soft, and not too sweet, all at once. The coconut shrimp was delicious, as well, and didn't have a you're-only-going-to-taste-coconut flavor to it, as some places do.We were the only people there at around 11:00. The overhead music was playing Sunny 99.1, so it was a delightful mix of music that we both enjoyed; the volume was loud enough to hear it, but not too loud to where we couldn't hear each other. We'll definitely be going back again and I highly recommend you try it, too!

Great customer service, comfortable atmosphere... Fantastic food! Most delicious was the seafood sezzling platter... absolutely delicious! Coconut shrimp, crab ball, and stuffed jalapeno also tasted great... best lunch I've had in awhile!
