Visited Shipleys new store in Iowa colony today 8-23-26 the store was empty my wife and I dropped in for desert maybe an hour and a half before the store closing. The only person working was prepping for closing, she provided excellent service we ordered 2 frozen coffee's a d 2 doughnuts, the coffee drinks were good but the doughnuts of course were obviously sitting on the shelf for most of the afternoon the flavor was good but they were hard from sitting for too long. Today, 8/21/26 around 7:30am I went in to get a dozen donuts. There was an older lady helping me. Everything was going okay until the phone rung. Instead of her answering the phone and putting them on hold until she finishes my order, she tells me to hold on and proceeds to take an order over the phone. I stood there wondering how long she was going to take. I was trying to get her attention and she told her coworker to come help me.
