My family and I live in buffalo. We visited family in Round Rock and I knew we HAD to catch the Bills game at the Bills Backer Anchor Bar while we were in town. The food was great. The wings were on point. Plenty of Blue Cheese š The atmosphere felt like home and the service was great. When we come back to Texas we will 100% be visiting this Anchor Bar Again! Go Bills! šš

Navone was our host for the afternoon, and he was AWESOME!! He was very polite and friendly, as was all Anchor Bar personnel. He always made sure we had what we needed, Thank you, Navone.

It's definitely a vibe. Great service, and the food was on point. Very accessible. They were also taking up donations for a frequent that was in an accident recently where he lost his spouse. They seem to genuinely care about their customers. Love that. ā¤ļø

Came for a second visit today for an early dinner and left disappointed with service from Ava. When we arrived, one of us asked if we could toss a cup in the garbage. They were met with, āYeah, I donāt give a **** about this jobā. I didnāt witness this because we were seated quickly and our friend was trailing behind, however, our friend shared that it was the person that ended up being our server.
From the start, Ava couldnāt keep our drink orders straight which made it seem like she didnāt care enough to pay attention. She checked on us very awkwardly a few times while we dined. Two of our guests asked for to-go boxes and she responded with āwell what size? small or large?ā as if either of them worked there and knew. Not rocket science, but weāre not her friends. We had three tickets at our table, and when she brought us the tickets she set them down stacked and said āiām leaving this here and yall can figure it outā. Again, unprofessional and showed carelessness. I paid cash. Two other tickets were paid using the QR code. She came by again and coldly said āOk which tickets do I need to take care of?ā we told her none. She collected the cash payment, looked at our ticket, and didnāt say anything else. No āthank youā, āhave a good dayā, āthanks for coming inā, nothing.
One of the QR tickets wouldnāt go through after trying a few times. We were already by the door and asked if we could just pay at the to-go station with a card. Ava was there and she opened the tickets from our table and accused my husband and I of not paying. We had to remind her that we paid cash. Luckily, she recalled us paying cash but it seemed very weird and didnāt sit well with us afterward. I really hope she closed out our ticket with the payment. The food was great but she seemed careless. I think she forgot she was serving a table and not her friends. Iād still recommend you guys, but crap service is such a turn off. Fingers crossed for a better experience next time.

Typical wing spot. Lots of sauces. Had a salad, fried pickles, fried cauliflower. The chicken on the salad was so dry. Fried cauliflower was great. Fried pickles were good too. The wings here seem expensive but maybe that's just how much they cost in the area.
Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower wings in any sauce is a great option.

I went to this restaurant twice in the same day. The first time I went was during lunch and everything was perfect. The second time I went it was around 8 p.m. and I believe the kitchen was in rush because my food came out and it didnāt have any of the rub season of my choice on them. However, I still consider this to be best wing restaurant in town.
