I had never been to this restaurant. We were visiting, and my husband's nephew suggested this place. It was amazing!!! The food is so good!! Service was great as well. Staff was super nice! Next time we come back to Round Rock, we will be eating here again!!

I preferred the Harper’s heights venue. Quieter and better service.
Food is still great, but techno music in a Venezuelan restaurant at 4pm…not the best environment to have a meal

I've eaten here many times and the food has always been phenomenal. No place like it in the area and it's got some really unique dishes.

The reason I'm reviewing now is the last three times I've gone the food has taken away least 10-15 minutes longer to arrive than promised. One day at lunch there was an hour wait for a table and 2/3 of the restaurant was empty. It's a fabulous place but I do wish they could get the staff they need, because it's almost impossible to go there for lunch now and get back to work on time.

Also, the fried dish I got today was fried so much that it was rock hard. I didn't detract any stars for it because it's the first time I've ever had an issue with the food, but it was a bit of a bummer that a $17 dish wasn't really edible. I'm hoping that letting it sit with the toppings will soften everything up, because otherwise it tastes great. I'm hoping the staffing issues aren't also impacting the kitchen quality, because I seriously crave this food at least once a week!

We had a wonderful time. The food was very good. Maybe a little expensive but you do get a large portion. Atmosphere was nice.
I live far but I would come again next time I'm in town!

We ADORE food at Arepita and normally go to the one in Harker Heights. This was our 1st time in RR, and the only reason we’re not giving 5 stars is because they had techno music playing very LOUD at 4pm in the afternoon! The place is so beautiful ( nicer than HH ) however the loud techno music does not match the place. Some lounge Latino music given it’s a Venezuelan restaurante would have been nicer and more pleasant. We ate and immediately left cause it just wasn’t pleasant to hang around with such loud music.
The food was great and delicious as usual however I will going back to usual HH where they don’t play such unpleasant music and we can have a good time while eating and chatting with family and friends
