Besos Cocina & Cantina

We went the other night for a family get together and we are a large group. We arrived fairly early in the evening and it was not busy at all. When we asked to be seated outside (so we can enjoy the live music) we were told that we couldn’t because it was “reserved” it DID NOT look reserved. Next once we got our table our waitress took our drink orders and disappeared for a LONG time. We even had an incident where someone was kinda choking on a chip and we had to get up and ask for some water. We had to walk up to the manager and he responded (very aggravated) “she’s on her way” with no urgency. We had to get up several times and ask “where’s our waitress”? Eventually she seen what was happening and then became very short and cold towards us. We Had to ask OTHER servers for assistance and again the manager SEEING all of this didn’t bother to come offer any assistance whatsoever. Food took forever to come out and when it did it came out at different times (which was weird) and some of it was COLD. Plates/menus were not picked up so we were sitting there with a FULL table again because the waitress was not attentive. Just the whole experience was horrible the food was horrible. To top it all off, because we were a LARGE party we got stiffed with a mandatory gratuity. Let me just tell you, what she received was NOT earned. The food was not worth the price-service was not worth the price. Management was not worth his wage. We feel ROBBED and Disappointed. Will not be back.

I loved the garlic shrimp. I had eaten in other places, but these were definitely fascinating. I recommend them.

It was my first time there and I enjoyed it I celebrated my birthday that day and had about 20 guest and our waitress didn't miss a beat she was awesome and can't forget DJ2DQ he jamed

I had the Aquachile and it was so spicy! The kind of spice thats burns but it tastes so good you want more! Their cocktails are just as amazing. I had the Fire Cactus and the Blueberry Shot and hands down so amazing! The vibes here are chill but fun especially during dinner time. They play music at around 8:30 dinner time btw! Truly recommend

Great atmosphere but no kid’s menu. A Coloring menu would be great.. other than that breakfast was really good with great prices.

TV’s are off and/or having connection problems, then I get no reception in here to get on my phone. They offer no public/costumer wifi either.
This is the saddest happy hour I’ve been to on a Friday evening.
I will not be coming here to spend my money again!

Everything was wonderful! We were extremely delighted to have Jenny as our waitress, she made the best recommendations and provided great details for the platters we ordered. Great prices, good atmosphere, fast and friendly service...we will definitely go many times again.

Had besos for dinner for the first time! The vibe was amazing, service, food and a cucumber martini that I ordered , I had a long day at work and it hit the spot . It was refreshing! Totally coming back!

Evelyn was our server and from the moment we came in she was very attentive. Our good was awesome! She checked on us múltiple times. The mole and the ranchero sauce were good. But the Quesabirria tacos were ESPECTACULAR. 100% reccomended.

Amazing food, great family environment. By what I've been told, totally revamped... and some of the best service from courteous and professional staff that I have witnessed. Good is ever evolving with traditional Mexican flavors. Drinks were on point. Well definitely stop by on a regular occasion when in Austin.
Shout out to the manager, bartenders, and the wait staff!!! Awesome job guys.
