My boyfriend and I went to Cafe Java. It was my boyfriend's first time and the thing he was constantly talking about was the service. Our waiter, Joshua was AMAZING. He was very friendly as well as respectful. Anytime you asked him something he'd respond with, "Yes ma'am, yes sir!" He has a wonderful attitude. If you see him let him know he's great!
Dietary restrictions: I am currently on the carnivore diet, which is meat, salt, and butter only. Cafe Java accommodated my needs very well. There was a mess up in my order, but it was complicated and really busy in there so there is grace. It was overall lovely.
Some menu items are better than others but overall it is very good, the quality of the ingredients are high, very reasonable prices and the atmosphere is always great.
Also, breakfast all day.

The breakfast tacos are good! The salsa is average. The fries are undercooked and cold. :/ I will re-visit. Hopefully this was just a one off? You can always tell the quality of a restaurant based on its french fries. (A saying) $4 the portion should be a little bigger? Idk

The food's alright for what it is and it's affordable. I always ask for a table whenever I go there because some servers provide better service to regulars (I'm NOT the only person who's mentioned this). The first time I ever went there and was seated at the bar, I was barely acknowledged until I was about to go behind the bar to get a refill myself. They will be chatting away while your cup sits in front of them, empty.

This was my first time going to this restaurant today and I will not be going back. The food was subpar. My bacon was burnt, the sausage wasn’t great either. Another guest didn’t even finish her food. The service was lacking. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars was because of the kind woman at the front was greeting people and our waitress was nice. The GM in the Green Bay hoodie was less than pleasant to my mother and I. All we asked for while waiting to be seated were some napkins and was greeted with a less than pleasant facial expression and absolutely no greeting or communication. However, he was nice and friendly to other guests who happen to be regulars there, so I’m not sure what his issue was, but as a new guest and a GM who treated us like we were less than, was not a good start to our first experience.
True hospitality, good food and you will always find people smiling here.

i was recommended this place by someone and it was pretty good. i wasnt expecting it to be so busy, but i didnt wait long for a table for 1. although my server seemed new, the food was decent and drinks were delicious

Love this place so much will come here time and time again! Great cafe joint for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Absolutely love the diner style vibe in the cafe and the coffee. So many options and great breakfast menu even when it is not breakfast. Love the pancakes and hash browns. Very nice and fast service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a consistent, affordable, and delicious brunch joint!

I've eaten here for 20+ years.
