Cajun Crabs & Shrimp #2, Round Rock

Food is good but the service was pathetic. The waitress who served portrayed “not happy” and purposefully try to spoil my night. Even after taking hefty gratuity ( ~$28+ on 140 bill), the waitress behaviour was bad. I’d filed a formal complaint but I was with kids so writing here. A memorable night spoiled by bad service.

The menu, website, and app do not show the same food that you get in the restaurant. The fries are waffle fries, the shrimp is butterflied panko shrimp, and the crab cakes are panko crusted and bland. Everything looks and tastes like frozen food. Very dissapointing experience and I won't be back. The place was clean, but not worth the price for sure.

We recently visited Cajun Crabs and Shrimp, and our server Julia made the experience absolutely wonderful. She was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, recommending several dishes since it was the first time some of my coworkers had visited the restaurant.

I ordered the mojarra, while the others tried the seafood bags. The mojarra was cooked perfectly—just a bit salty on the back side, but overall very well done. The presentation of all the dishes was excellent, and everyone I brought with me loved the place.

As for the spicy sauce, I usually eat a lot of chili, and I thought it was just right—not too mild, not too strong. The atmosphere was great, and as always, the service was outstanding. Every time I visit, Julia is my waitress, and she always does an excellent job. She takes the time to explain everything on the menu, even the smallest questions, with patience and a smile.

Julia is truly an exceptional employee—it’s rare nowadays to find someone who takes such pride in their work, and we truly appreciate the great service she provided. Congratulations as well to all the cooks, because the food was excellent overall, with no issues except the small detail on the mojarra.

First off, everything that was tried on the menu was on point and super tasty. Plus the portions are great! The only downside was….you know what I’m about to say! Yup they had small roaches going back and forth by the table. I think they thought they were in a runway show or something lol! When brought to the attention of the server she was quick to move me to another table and let us know that they had the place sprayed couple of nights before and perhaps that’s why they were parading around. They were two small ones if that makes a difference. She gave us a discount on the total and was very apologetic. Regardless of that small hiccup, the food was delish and the service was great too!

Me and the wife have been coming here for years and the quality is very consistent, in a good way. It's always good with the snow crab, so you're money isn't being wasted. I tried the octopus today and though it was a little chewy, it was absolutely delicious! Kids eat free on Monday, so jot that down!

I had the half-price snow crab legs on Thursday special. They were good. Even the mild was a little spicy. Added a potato and corn was very good, but I'm not that big of a snow crab fan because a lot of work and very little meat. Usually prefer lobster or king crab legs instead. Service was good. Everything got to the table. Okay. Friendly and correct. Like the fact that they had bibs and gloves and crab crackers to break the shells and get to the meat of the crab. We were a group of 8 or 10s so quite a few of us and no issues. Probably go back and try some of the fried items or other things besides snow crab legs.

Food and Service is amazing

I’ve come here several times with friends and family. Every time the servers don’t have any customer service skills At all. Barely smile and barely greet you.

Tonight I go in alone. It’s about 8pm, they close at 10pm. There are 2 servers standing at the front. They both walk away after about a few seconds of me walking in, with out saying anything to me. So I waited. About 1 min later, one of the ladies comes back, grabs something and walks away. Still with out saying anything to me. Not even a hello, nothing!

I waited a bit longer. I almost left but I wanted some crab legs lol. So I walked to the bar and finally the server speaks to me. I ask are yall not serving anymore tonight?? Are yall closing early, because I’m standing up here and no one can speak or assist me?? The lady then takes me to a seat. WTH, I’m sorry but at least saying “hello someone one will be right with you” goes a long way. On this account I don’t think I’ll go back. I’ve worked in food service in the past, I know it’s hard work, but customer service goes. Long way. The food is good but the lack of service buts a bad taste on it for me. They rude as hell.

The food was phenomenal! Super meaty crab, big firm shrimps, and pretty affordable for what we ordered! Our server Marcos was friendly, and very knowledgeable on the menu, he helped us find the perfect boil!
