One of the best Indian Vegetarian Restaurants in town. Food is really fresh and taste os always consistent.
I read reviews that it is overprices, when compared to other restaurants around and for the quality of the good they deliver, they are very reasonably priced. They never use anything frozen and their bread is also made fresh in house.
Their menu has a great variety including Indian street food, South Indian specialities, IndoChinese dishes, North Indian dishes...read full review

The Honest Indian Vegetarian Restaurant in Austin offers a diverse menu with delicious dishes. The food is highly praised for its great taste, with popular choices including dosas, dry paneer chilli, pav bhaji, Indian style bhakri pizza, and veg burger. The "Honest special" sandwich remains a favorite among many customers. The restaurant is known for its friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and good value for money. Customers often enjoy items like the Mysore masala plain dosa, which is described as incredible, and the Mango Lassi, refreshing and tasty. The Masala Pav is also appreciated, though some feel it could use a bit more flavor, such as garlic chutney. Many dishes like Samosas, Misal Pauv, Momos, Sabudana Khichdi, and Sanbudana Vada are consistently fresh and crispy, with the Misal Pauv earning special praise. The owners' attention to customers and the cleanliness of the food add to the positive experience.
