Hot food is half price every Friday, highly recommended to try! The food tastes average, you can order more different dishes, and the overall price is not very expensive.

I am sad to see that the restaurant hours are now only from 11am until 6pm. I used to love to arrive at 9:30am before store was officially open and enjoy their bargain priced breakfast and free (to loyalty members) coffee before shopping. I didn't eat there for dinner as much, but when I worked near to it and got off at 6pm, I occasionally liked to go in for dinner. I wish they'd restore the morning hours and breakfast. I was going to go today....how disappointing.
Other things I miss, the original Apple Cake was layered with apples and one of the best. Later they added more breading to it, it's ok now, but not spectacular- below average compared to apple pie.

I have always liked the food at IKEA but closing at 6 is pretty weird. Twice we have been forgot this because most places are still open at 6 NOT close at 6.

I drove 20 miles and spent an hour in traffic just to get here from Central Austin because I was extremely hungry and really wanted to get the cafe food. When I arrived, they were closed even though it says they are open online. For the sake of everyone's time, please list RENOVATIONS / ALTERNATIVE HOURS somewhere online instead of wasting other people's precious time and gas money. Needless to say, I will never be coming back here ever again and they have lost my business as a repeat customer.

It was ok. We stopped for my daughter to eat lunch. There was nothing she liked on the menu or in the self serve. She got a Sprite and I had a hot tea. Take note if you like Splenda. They do not use it. I was dissatisfied.
