Edit: following the owner’s response, adding a call out that below review is only for the restaurant ‘Inchins Bamboo Garden’ under previous management, not the new management/ownership. New name is definitely quite similar to the old one, and there don’t seem to be any new photos on Google Maps with the new place/branding.Used to be a famed chain of restaurants for Indo-Chinese food. We ate here twice and could not fathom why. Tried a variety of dishes but everything was quite bland; our first visit we were offered add on sauces which at least brought some flavor; on the second visit those were missing from all tables. Table placemats are cute.

While visiting family in the Round Rock area, we decided to try The Bamboo Garden for dinner. The food was phenomenal! You can tell they use only the freshest ingredients and each item we tried was even better than the last. The owner and his staff were extremely accommodating and some of the nicest people I have ever met. He took the time to answer any and all of our questions all while continuing to provide top notch customer service to other guests.Returning to The Bamboo Garden is at the top of my to do list next time I am in town. Do yourself a favor and take to time to try this family and independently owned and operated establishment. You will not be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Halal food

Best halal Chinese in TexasThe food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere at Bamboo Garden is warm and inviting, and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable meal.

Another fantastic meal at Inchin's Bamboo Garden.... love this place. Have always had a wonderful experience here and want disappointed tonight with family for a birthday dinner. Lettuce wraps, American chop suey noodles, Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken. Awesome!

If there was a choice, I would have given a rating of 0 stars. This is NOT a location where you should eat in. The employees and management were hostile, haughty, and prepared to fight. We ordered a few dishes, one of which was mixed veg Manchurian, but it was chilly when it arrived. Either it was old and refrigerated, or they used frozen food but neglected to heat it to a temperature where the customer could not tell. When the manager was informed of the occurrence, he reacted negatively and became combative. The manager and staff were so haughty that they claimed the restaurant wouldn't close if customers stopped coming, and it appeared they didn't care about the reviews. In general, I had a negative experience and would NOT recommend Inchin's Bamboo Garden to my friends and family, it is such a bad place where they uses stale/refrigerated/frozen food.

The paneer is really tofu, the white cucumber sauce was very spicy and the food had no spice, they have a screen with pictures and nothing looked like the ad.

We ordered Gobi Machurian and Thai Chilli fried rice along with Malaysian paratha and I felt that the taste was good but Thai fried rice was not like the Thai fried rice from the typical Thai restaurants but the taste was not something to complain too much about. Gobi Manchurian was good. Even though the dishes lacked a little zing I would still give this place a 4/5 .

We went for the first time through a friends review. The food was amazing, some of the best Hakka food we have had. The food came very quickly, in less than 6 minutes. The customer service was the best part of the restaurant. The manager was very nice and welcoming. We had a lovely talk with him and made the food even more enjoyable. I would recommend anyone to go. The burnt garlic fried rice was very good and everyone should try it.

This Indo-Chinese fusion restaurant is one of the best in the Austin. Nice look and ambience. Definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to try Indian-Chinese fusion food.

Loved the food. The ambience is top notch. Got the lunch special, it was overall great food. Apt quantity for a quick lunch. The service was great. The hosts are welcoming, enjoyed the hot food. Cozy place for lunch and dinner. Overall definitely a recommended place to hang out. The price is on the higher end if you are going there for dinner.

I would give 0 stars if I could. After the ownership change, both food quality and service have deteriorated. Never going here again.

This is a rather "mixed bag" review. The staff was friendly and treated us great. However, parking was an effort. Not their fault, but when the parking lot is full with people parking for other businesses they are going to loose customers. Also, while the "Wings of Heaven" were excellent, the same can't be said for their "Mongolian Beef" and their hot 'n sour soup. The "Mongolian Beef" wasn't bad, but nothing about it "stood out".As for their hot 'n sour soup, it was so heavily spiced with black pepper it completely overwhelmed any other flavors. The management did take it seriously when we let them know and I do hope they are able to correct the recipe being used.Overall, not bad, but outstanding either.

One of the few places in Austin for authentic indo Chinese food. We had Lat mai paneer which was crispy on outside and soft from inside. Taste was great. Chili garlic noodles was also delicious with help of additional sauces they have available there. Please do try out all different sauces if you’re dining in. Wait time is not too bad after ordering. Chinese Bhel was simply delicious. However I was disappointed with masala soda. There wasn’t any gasIn the soda at all. It felt like drinking sugary water without any carbonated/ soda. And it was tasting sweet?! Which is bizarre. I just ordered it as it was great in Chicago’s bamboo garden. Anyways I don’t recommend Masala soda here. Parking was great. Staff and service both were nice and courteous. Good ambience. Good quantity/ portion size to use them as left overs for next meal.
