La Cocina Reviews
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The Lasagna was to die for!!! Best ever!
My husband and I love this place. Their Lasagne is by far the best in the area (and is super close to being the best I’ve ever had) and everything we have ever tried has been excellent. They have Mexican and Italian dishes. We highly recommend this family owned place!!
Very nice place with lots of yummy options. Service is very amazing!

La Cocina is a charming restaurant in Round Rock that brings together Mexican and Italian flavors in a delightful way. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, with the chicken Parmesan and spicy marinara shrimp pasta being standout favorites. This cozy, family-owned restaurant has a Mexican theme that contributes to its inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy light, crunchy chips and fresh salsa, along with flavorful options like enchilada suizas, al pastor, puerco guisado, and lasagna. The enchilada sauce is unique, offering a more complex flavor profile than typical Tex-Mex sauces, making it a favorite among many. The special of the day, often Italian, is always delicious, and the lasagna comes highly recommended. On Wednesdays, five-dollar margaritas add a fun twist to the meal.
The service is consistently amazing, with staff becoming attentive and friendly over time. La Cocina is a true neighborhood gem located in a small shopping center, known for its unique and authentic menu. Customers appreciate the shrimp chipotle, chili relleno, and salads, often praising the food quality and consistency over the years. The restaurant is seen as a staple of the community, offering tasty food and great hospitality at reasonable prices. The lunch order of three enchiladas with rice and beans is a bargain, and sour cream is included without an upcharge, which is a rarity. La Cocina is a must-visit for anyone looking to support local mom-and-pop restaurants.
