La Texanita is located inside the gas station, so, not a sit down, however, the service was friendly, the food was hot, fresh and flavorful. I got a street taco dish with 5 different meats. Highly recommend when you're craving tacos and don't know what to get!

Holed up in a gas station and the last hit on a day of taco/plate runs, La Texanita is a gold standard for all things street food. Sure they sell burgers and other various American foods but the rest of the menu is reminiscent of a walk through in a traditional street market.

When I tell you I’ve been here for almost 2 years and never wanted to travel to Austin for authentic tacos I mean it. And I’m so happy I finally found this place. When I say I’m here weekly I mean it. Granted there’s no place to sit and eat but eating these mini tacos de asada hits every time whether I inhale them in the car or at home.
