Louisiana Crab Shack Cajun Grill & Oysters

My family was on vacation and decided to try this spot out. The food was hot, fresh, and YUMMY! Highly recommend the Cajun rice it's so good! It's a bit small and can get crowded, but overall great customer service and enjoyed the food! Will definitely be back when we visit again!

Extremely welcoming! Was much more crowded than I was expecting. The menu was great. The food was hot and fresh. I wasn’t a fan of the tartar or cocktail sauce appeared homemade but just not right for my taste. The catfish was a tad muddy, but I can’t complain. It’s always hit and miss. The fries were great, the shrimp was large and tasty. I wish the batter kind of stepped to the shrimp. A little better definitely would try this again again. Service was excellent even with an extremely packed house.

Guided, among grilled choices, to go with shrimp which proved a terrifuc tout. Steamed veggies fresh and not limp. Also, highly recommend the fried catfish. Not overly fried.

Attentive service , pattently explaining menu choices. Clearly, genuine concern for the customer’s experience.

Walked in on my birthday to have crawfish because I have been craving it for a long time. Met an amazing server named Dennis. He was a very kind and fun person and he just gave us good vibes. Gator bites and catfish were amazing and the crawfish was made to perfection. When we were about to leave this kind man told me “have a good birthday man”. When one of my friends did not like the drink they ordered, he happily let them change their drink. After we got our starters, by the time we finished them he had already got the crawfish to bring to us. If you have never been here, this is a must try. Dennis is an amazing person that shows that we should still have faith in humanity. Give this man a raise for all his hard work and dedication to his job.

First time we've been since the new opening / new owners. We give the place 2 thumbs up. I ordered the grilled shrimp and it was excellent. Will ordered fried oysters. Everything was yummy! We will return. We recommend. Next time we are getting a bag of ?!

I was born and raised in New Orleans. I've been eating crawfish since the womb and also make Louisiana style crawfish myself that would put all crawfish joints in Texas on notice lol. But when I don't feel like exerting the effort, I'll settle for Texas style. And I have to say, this is one of the best Texas styles I've had thus far! It wasn't just crawfish boiled in water and covered in sauce. It was properly boiled and well seasoned, flavorful crawfish covered in sauce. You can taste the love they put into their boil. The crawfish tails were mostly tender and did have some flavor.. though the sauce made up for any tails that lacked flavor. The shells were a bit hard so could be soaked for longer.. though that's what you get with Texas style. And the heads mostly contained flavor and were worth sucking. Which is saying A LOT in comparison to your typical Texas seafood spot serving up Louisiana food. All in all, I recommend this place and would definitely come back! It's literally one of three places I give a thumbs up to in this area.. and that's out of MANY nameless others I would never recommend in this lifetime or the next lol.

I went here with my granddaughter and her friend for dinner and the food was really good. They have decent size portions, the staff were friendly, the place was clean. If you are looking for a good po boy sandwich definitely go here. My catfish po boy was so big I could not close it, so I ate it with a fork. The catfish was very tender and flavorful, the girls had shrimp & crab leg boil & crawfish & sausage boil.

Parking: The parking is shared with other businesses in the shopping center.

This is our 2nd time here and we have been thinking about coming back after the 1st time for months! Regret not coming back sooner but our kids ruin our eating experience and we just didn’t want to have to rush this delicious, flavorful meal! The staff next level friendly, I’m talking the friendly that’s not faked but is genuine because they legitimately want you to enjoy your meal. The food so flavorful (not salty) but well thought out so you can tell they have perfected the mixes they make. My husband LOVES crawfish and this is his favorite place to get it from during the season. Highly recommend if you want some bomb Cajun food in a friendly atmosphere. We will be back again!

Kid-friendliness: Chill atmosphere. Kids can enjoy being a kid while eating dinner. Nice kids menu with the typical kid items.

Literally the best crawfish you will ever have. We eat as much crawfish as we can every season and since finding this place we won’t go anywhere else. You have multiple sauce and seasoning options. We get bottom of the bayou which is all of the sauces together and the medium heat with a side of fire is the perfect combination. There is so much flavor, the perfect amount of heat and they provide you with bibs, gloves and wet wipes!!! Also definitely try out the mango margaritas! The service is great too and the owner personally visits with tables which is a great touch.
