As soon as we opened the door it smelled like sewage or a very dirty/smelly bathroom. The waitress didn't understand English very well, so we had to point to the item on the menu that we wanted to order. We had to ask for refills and were never checked on after we received our meal.The food was good, but the restaurant could use a remodel as some of the bar chairs fabric was torn and the floors did not appear to have been mopped recently. This restaurant has been around for a very long time, but looks like the owner/owner's aren't reinvesting money into the business overall. The food is overpriced, over $100 for 3 people and without alcohol, raw oysters or boiled shrimp (which are usually pricey at most places as well) and $3.50 for a glass of iced tea.I've been here numerous times over my 24 years in Round Rock, but won't be returning after today .

Food here is very good. Enjoyed the Catfish. Flaky and made just right. The gumbo was excellent. Could be a little spicier for my tastes. Was greeted as I walked in. My server was very polite and helpful.

The fish was raw and the food tasteless! We order 2 Pacific Platters and a 2 Piece Catfish and other dishes.Manager become upset and said “its always you people”Never again will i patronize this place - People of color are not welcome in this place!
Crawfish was not good and the service was mid. They need a better drink selection. Cheap wine and the catfish wasn’t seasoned . Never will return. Please take that pico and cheese oyster off the menu. Oh and when we walked in they just stared , we were confuse on seating ourselves or wait on them. Never got asked ,for refills. It was not busy at the time.
Lunch today, fresh oysters, broiled flounder + Gumbo. All were delicious, staff was great. Gladsomeone recommended it as I would never have noticed it...it's a bit off the beaten track. 100% chance we'll

The restaurant was smoky, I got the broiled catfish and it was gummy and the shrimp rice was old. My friend ordered the fried catfish and I ate one of her filets. I was afraid to send the food back or make a scene. Our order was $55, a waste of time and money. I was really excited to eat here, but the food was not good. The server was nice.
