It's okay. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Even though half the booths were empty, we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Not that big a deal. They have a little whiteboard that says what's unavailable/sold out. It was blank when we were seated.Waitress was nice and we wanted to try the lasagna and chicken parm. Both were sold out, which was really disappointing. They cited a very busy Sunday. But, to be out of stock 4 hours prior to closing, either there were multi hour long waits, everyone ordered ONLY lasagna, or poor planning. Either way, might have been easier to swallow if they made use of that whiteboard in the front (it was still blank when we left).Got the spaghetti and meatballs, which was fine. Took a while to come out even though, again, Sunday afternoon and about half the tables were empty. I get they prep their pasta to order, but even still seemed like a while. I can only imagine how long the waits would be on a busy night.Sauce was okay, meatballs were nothing to write home about. Would have liked freshly grated parmesan as opposed to the Kraft bottles in the glass jars. For Round Rock, this might be better than your usual Olive Garden. So, I assume that's where this relatively inflated score is coming from, but it's... fine.

Everything was great at this spot, from the service to the food. Came on a Saturday but couldn’t be seated because it was so full. Glad we came back Sunday because we would have missed out!

Wanted to visit for quite a while, and at last was able to do so. We had a lovely dinner! That's for sure! Food is really good - no doubt at all, just a couple of things I would critic - to be honest with my review: quite a big (young) serv team, which led to a fairly prompt service, however, would love if they were a little more fine dine service oriented, as that would've brought the whole experience much higher! As this is a constructive review - would like to bring examples: a few of the stuff standing by the bar, talking and laughing, sometimes walking by, while empty plates, straw papers on the table, and only came to pick it up, after we've stacked them all and set them at the edge of the table. Even after dinnerware was removed, lots of crumbs were left on the table, and it would've been nice to wipe the table up before the main course would've arrived.. again - just a constructive review! really loved the place and think that things like that will elevate the experience so much...the small difference between a good and excellent - and they have the potential! And they deserve it! Would go back for sure! Yumm

Terrible experience! Our server was horrible. Needs to learn social skills. Negative attitude. Made us feel uncomfortable! Do not recommend them. And the food was mediocre. Will not recommend or go

You’re able to pick your choice of pasta and one of many tasty sauces. The dishes are simple but very tasty. 10/10

My favorite Italian place in the Austin and surrounding areas. Every dish I’ve tried so far has been the best and the food seems to be very authentic Italian. The ambience in the place was nice and the waiter was very friendly. Only drawback is that there is a typically 30-45 min waiting time if you go on Friday or the weekends.

I wanted to try this place for a while, learning that they make their own pasta...we went Saturday night, sat in the patio area, our waitress was excellent. Now the con: pasta!I'm from NY, where authentic Italian food is available, also we have traveled to Italy, therefore we know pasta and Italian food, well, this isn't, I ordered carbonara sauce , which was very salty due to bacon, and liquidity not binding to pasta, my husband lasagna was good, I ate the pasta because I was starving ( they take looong time to bring food out), and the portion for the price is very small, for dessert we ordered a cannoli, not authentic, it has pistachio!! Overall, not a great dinner and very expensive for the portion and lack of flavor of the sauce, the only positive was our waitress. Not recommended and patrons should look for better and authentic Italian food elsewhere in Austin.

Honestly, I think this place is wildly overrated! If you want to pay for what presents to me as pretty basic pasta (no whole wheat or gluten-free options there by the way) in a busy/crowded, slow-ish service, chi-chi & noisy AF environment in downtown RR with a $9 beer possibility to support your survival of the experience, be my guest -- and plenty of patrons seem to flock there. This truly baffles me. Yes, there are a variety of sauce choices...I haven't specifically tried their calzone but I'm not motivated to pay to do so.And: I don't frequent the area; the lunch special might be worth a shot if you do.My brother's family including my picky eater niece & SIL (whose favorite take-out foods include Whataburger & Torchy's -- which I have nothing against) really like it and choose to dine in here over ALL other casual family dining options(!!) for many a special occasion; so I have been dragged more than once.Smh. Perhaps I'll get an overpriced drink & caprese salad and/or offer to play with the kids outside while we're waiting to be seated or served. (And I'll resist the urge to run away or throw myself into oncoming traffic.)

Ate here twice, once by takeout and the other by dine-in, and enjoyed it both times over the two days we were visiting. The draw of a handmade pasta instantly tells you that the ingredients are top of mind here. For takeout we ordered the calzones which came in two different sizes ready to sate any appetite. Zahra was helpful in taking our order and even recommended some options to make the meal better. Before a massage nearby my partner and I dined in and sat at the bar. The staff was attentive and worked together to address all customers. The complimentary bread was warm and good. The Spinach Salad is a MUST. The spicy pecans and dressing was delicious. As was the small pizza. The crust had a nice chew to it but also had a satisfying crisp. Finally the pasta was very enjoyable and the sauces used were great. If you are in town you should try this place out if not just for the Spinach Salad but also for the great service and wide selection of good food.
