I've never been to the restaurant since I live in South Austin, however I was lucky enough to discover their products-- cherry pie and Mud Pie Crusties (!!!!) at Peoples Rx - Keeping Austin Well Since 1980 . I kept checking the label because I couldn't believe the crust was GF -its dry and flakey just like the Pillsbury ready-made pie crust my mom used to use! That texture and taste is hard to find among gluten-free goods.

It honestly is hard to put into words how much I love coming to this bakery. The food is absolutely amazing and that’s saying a lot since everything is gluten free,dairy free and so much more! 💜. Also the wonderfully nice ladies I’ve met that work there make it even better. They truly care and love their customers. I will never stop raving about this place.
