Went down hill. Management needs to show up and remind the workers to refill those containers of veggies before they become empty. Service was ok.

Salata as always is so yummy! But today was our first time at this location and we had the ABSOLUTE BEST service! Annie our salad maker was absolutely the best yet! She was patient kind and so attentive. I have Littles who like to order their own things and she listened and helped them both to make their salad dreams come true. We will be back! THANK YOU ANNIE!!

I love a good salad bar, and this place has lots of options. I do however wish they had cottage cheese as an option, and more options for dressings (please add thousand island). They have 2 salad sizes, and I definitely recommend getting the small because it's still quite large. For the salad alone, it's pretty reasonably priced, but protein is extra. Personally, I don't think the normal amount of protein they provide is enough for a meal salad, so I usually get double, which usually means my salad costs about $20. The freshness of the salad ingredients also seems to vary by day. Sometimes lots of it is great, but sometimes the cucumbers look a bit sad or the pepperoncinis are extra sour. Their lemonades and teas are very flavorful and delicious, but I do wish they were less sweet.

Salata is the ultimate spot for fresh, build-your-own salads that never disappoint. Everything from the greens to the toppings and dressings tastes crisp and flavorful. It’s perfect for a healthy lunch or light dinner, and the customization options make it easy to get exactly what you’re craving. Clean, quick, and consistently delicious!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Central Texas! Shannon always recognizes me and makes me feel extra special! The salads are incredible!!! The Regular Salad is 3x the size of a salad and go salad, and you get to build it! Beets, blue cheese, jicama, about anything you can imagine. All for around $11. It’s 2 meals. If you add protein ($3-4) the pesto chicken is amazing! Chase and Kailey were super nice, too! If only they would open a store in Temple Texas, I would come everyday!! Also they have the best house made croutons and multi-grain croissants!

I want to start by saying that Salata is my favorite place to get a wrap/salad from. The food is fresh and delicious and I love that I get to customize my order, but the service in-store is not great and surprisingly it’s the manager and the shift lead who make it unwelcoming. More than once I’ve experienced what feels like annoyance from the team while they’re making the order and I’m all about service industry workers matching a customer’s energy so if I were being rude or off putting then by all means, treat me that way back but I make it a point to smile, say please and be thankful for their work and yet it still feels like I’m an inconvenience. There doesn’t need to be fanfare but being welcoming, especially as higher positions at the restaurant, seems like very little to ask for (there were two other employees there who were very friendly and nonplussed by us ordering, so shout out to them!). If this were the first time I’ve experienced a non welcoming attitude at this location I wouldn’t feel like a review was necessary but it’s happened so many times recently that it’s a point of discussion before we even get out of our car to go inside. I would also extend grace if they were busy but that was very much not the case with only one table occupied when we came in. I really do love the food so I’ll continue to place orders online but I shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in-store.

I went with my husband today, and while waiting in line- I guess it was a manager who was helping us, when another young worker was about to help us with the next section of topings, the manager snapped at her in a very harsh way saying “I got it, help the next customers”. I get mangers being managers and having to take on their roll. But it was in a very harsh way that the young girls eyes widened and she just walked to help the people in the lettuce section with a confused face. I’ve been thinking about this since we left, and I just wanted to make this so maybe that manager knows to be a little nicer- or to change her tones when giving directions.
