Whoever at corporate created the devil's food filled donut is not getting paid enough. Absolutely phenomenal; like a lava cake with a fudgy filling.
Haven't had a bad delivery experience from this location, though the pricing is a bit steep, and the kolaches are very bread-heavy (not a lot of filling)

We normally love Shipleys. This location was not good though. Kolaches were old and shriveled up. Could tell the donuts were old. Not fresh. Won’t be back to this location
The prices here have become a bit much. For 2 kolaches and a coffee, it was $14. Maybe if the quality and freshness were there, it would make sense. But the coffee is basic gas station coffee, and the kolaches tasted like they've been under a heat lamp. There are too many other good places around. You can pass on this one.

Shipley's makes the best donuts in Austin, but they need to find better employees. Today I arrived well before the posted closing time of 4pm, and the place was already closed, locked up, and empty. This isn't the first time this has happened. Recently I went to the Pecan St. location and the lady opened the drive-through window and said "sorry, I'm leaving early to get to an appointment." No donuts for me that day, despite it being about an hour before closing time.
If Shipley's supervised their staff better this would be a 5-star review.
