I visited this little shop in Round Rock with a strategic few menu options. I was able to swiftly place my order, got my food, and everything went off without a hitch. However, I felt that the prices were a tad steep for what was available. I paid out nearly $9 for a sandwich, fountain drink, and fries, which I believe was overpriced for what you get. Short Stop is the hidden gem of burgers & fries in the Austin area. Great prices and great food!

The fries are the best in town!! Cooked perfect! Just the right amount of crispy on the outside and cooked perfect inside.

Burgers are great! Real old school. No fancy stuff just a great burger!

Meh. Feels way too expensive for normal burgers. Took a while to get our food out as well, but it's a burger/fried food joint so you kinda get what you expect. Nothing bad, just not really good
