We ordered 2 meal plate exploded turkey and brisket / cream corn and mashed potatoes. I liked their sides but meats were so cold and brisket was not good at all. We were there at 3 pm, I don’t know maybe we went there late.

I love their burnt ends. So very much. I've been twice in the last few days just to get them. I removed a star because on the first trip half the ends were hard, I could barely chew them. They were redeemed with the 2nd trip.
I dropped off an order for Instacart and I was offered a brisket egg and cheese breakfast taco as a tip. I had never eaten at a Smokey Mo’s before and it was delicious. Thank you very much. You’ve just made me a Smokey Mo’s customer as I’ll definitely be back.

This is the first time in twenty years of eating at Austin area BBQ restaurants that I walked away still hungry. I ordered the Rib Plate and got three very tiny ribs. My friend ordered the Brisket Plate and got maybe quarter pound of brisket. We even ordered the large drinks, which is basically another tip given free refills. The sides were reasonable but not enough to make up for the tiny BBQ portions. I've not had this issue at other Smokey Mo's, but I certainly will not be going back to this one.
