A family member ordered the steak nachos, and I expected it to be loaded..BUT it wasn't. It should've been 2x the size at least for $18.50I didn't take a picture of the loaded fries, but it wasn't loaded it should have filled the basket but there was still room right around the fries for $10.I wanted to order the pretzels but for $11 I wasn't to sure if it'd be worth it.

Great pub environment. Good aesthetic and solid food for the price. Awesome tap selection, they have something for everyone. Staff were friendly and helpful when tho it was busy for St. Patrick's day.

Review Update: BRING CASH (Dropped one star)We visited with our daughter for some apps and drinks on Sunday. On Monday I called in to ask why the extra charge of nearly $100? They advised that it was a 'temp hold' added when opening a tab and should 'fall off in 24 to 48 hours'. Today, was surprised to find the pending charge of $99.76 is STILL on my account 2 days later. I get that you want to mitigate for deadbeats vagabonds and scallywags, but this could be a serious game changer for folks on a tight budget. I strongly advise customers to BRING CASH to avoid Brass Tap holding onto such a large amount of money for more than 1 day. Also, recommend to first eat elsewhere; The Taps' once scrumptious and unique selection of hors d'oeuvres and goodies has become 18th century brig chow at best; much different qualtity than when they re-introduced their menu a couple years back: Korean Nachos, used to be our favorite. Salty thick sticky sauce, state fair cheap chips... simply overpriced and just 'meh'. (chicken wings were the star; at least edible to be fair).--Previous Review .. indeed still stands, overall--Such a fun place. I love to try beers that just can't be found elsewhere... The patio outback is fun too! These homies even sell decent cigars!

We had an absolutely terrible experience at The Brass Tap this week. The happy hour deals really aren’t good, and our server had an ugly attitude right up until she gave us the device to pay. After giving us attitude for asking basic questions, our server left us for such a long time after we told her we would be ordering food. My friend had to walk up to the bar to get her attention in order for her to come back to our table. We ordered the loaded fries, and they were also so disappointing. The giant scoop of sour cream on the little crinkle cut fries in addition to the minimal bacon bites and cheese were not a good combination. We left disappointed that we ever decided to go and try this place.We were really expecting a better experience from a place that says they are the best all over their walls and screens. We won’t be coming back.

Went there for an afternoon snack and a pint. Quick service, clean tables, clean restrooms. Moderately noisy and happening place on the weekends. Great bar with many many beer options in downtown Round Rock. Bar food was also good.

Great selection of beer! I love porters and stouts and they have plenty to choose from. You can choose to sit outside or inside. The bartenders are great and kind! The reason why I'm giving them 4 stars is because their food is horrible. The Mac and cheese as well as the Brussels sprouts always have a weird smokey burnt taste. Go the safe route and order the chicken tenders and fries! If you are hungry, eat somewhere else since this is a bar after all.
