The rooms are clean, service is amazing and the atmosphere is peaceful and calm. My husband and I absolutely loved it and will be back! What a slice of heaven just a few blocks down from downtown around Rock. I highly recommend this hotel!

I have not had the pleasure of staying at The Ruby yet but I cannot wait. I had to write a review and commend their customer service. I could not stay due to the weather and Kyle was so helpful and offered to reschedule or cancel with a refund. The process was so easy and eased anxiety. I will definitely be re-booking.

This quiet motel-style hotel was super cute! We booked same day and front desk was so helpful and patient with my questions. We had our puppy with us and the pet fee was actually less than your average hotel pet fee. The pool was warm and comfortable and my kiddos enjoyed it. HUGE SHOUTOUT to Juan, the bartender! Juan truly made our night with tasty cocktails and great conversation. The bar has speakeasy vibes, definitely wish I would have checked out the bar sooner! Sadly the bar/breakfast area ran out of food before 9ish the next morning so we didn’t get to try it but other than that, I will be returning!

In Round Rock, Texas for the Texas Association of Broadcasters convention, we booked the Ruby for our hotel stay. This quaint, comfy hotel is nestled just on the banks of a gorgeous creek surrounded by gorgeous, lush greenery and shade trees. The rooms are on point, with my room having a wonderful balcony overlooking a creek. On site restaurant and bar, The Ruby hotel scored high in my book with classic cocktails, apps and great eats! Downtown Round Rock offers plenty of restaurants, bars and live music and karaoke! Easy access to Uber/Lyft rides and Uber eats accessible! There is in room coffee and onsite swimming pool! Come and check out The Ruby hotel next time you are in the North Austin, Round Rock area!

Great atmosphere. Love the balconies. Food was great! I had the deviled eggs and Ruby's chicken & goat cheese salad. Both amazing!!!! Would highly recommend this place!

Extremely sweet and comfortable boutique hotel. Spacious and very clean. Large bathroom with thoughtful amenities like cotton buds provided. I liked the vintage decor pieces in my room. The bed was sooo comfy. It’s very convenient to have a restaurant that served breakfast lunch and dinner on site. Kyle is very friendly and helpful.

The finishings in the room were a bit builder grade but it’s really not an issue.

The only issues I had was someone got into my vehicle in the night but thankfully I didn’t have valuables in there. And the shower didn’t get warm enough for me. The thermostat was a bit hard to figure out, but it maintained the perfect sleeping temp!!

This place was a very nice stay. The whole staff seemed like they really liked working there and took pride in their work. They were very accommodating and quick to assist. The hotel itself is really cute and quaint. It's tucked away in trees right next to a creek, but yet it is in a central location of Round Rock. The hotel kind of has a quirky personality of its own as if they brought a mystery woman, Ruby, to life. I really enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful hidden place in the city of Round Rock. Felt similar to a small resort but you’re also close to the local food places and definitely didn’t feel like you’re in the city. I felt super relaxed being here. Johnathan at the front desk provided great customer service. Food at the bar was also good.

Only downside is the pool doesn’t face the creek. There were no elevators in my building so a side note for the heavy packers 😜

We had a small getaway for one day with my husband and I chose The Ruby Hotel in Round Rock!! It was amazingly beautiful! Hotel is in such quiet place, surrounded by forest and overlooking to the river! Clean, quiet rooms, super cute, very well maintained, super friendly staff. The only downside is that bar was not open. Our room was on a second floor. Also it was that crazy weekend where Texas has a lot of rains and floods so river does not look as pretty as before. Overall I like it very much!

This was my second time staying at the Ruby. First time was summer of 2024. Both times were excellent with zero complaints. The Ruby is a magical place and there's no where else like it that I've seen.
I stayed in building A both times and personally love being so close to the creek and all the wildlife. I think it is one of the best parts of the Ruby.
I never had any issues with parking..not sure what the other reviews are complaining about. Parking is totally fine.
Also see reviews about rude bar staff. The bar staff was nothing but friendly, accommodating and lovely every time I've been into the bar. I've interacted with several different staff and they've all been great.

In town for a wedding and selected The Ruby Hotel because of its location. Had a 2nd floor corner room with a perfect view of the river and its wildlife. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed here back in 2020 and the room had one of the most beautiful views. We ended up moving to Round Rock a few months later and I believe staying at the hotel and the experience we had downtown helped make that decision!
