Wayback Burgers

When through the drive through. I was asked if i Could hold on. I said no problem. Waited fifteen minutes then decided just to go in and there was only 1 customer. It was the first and last time I will go there.

Burgers were great. Try the onion rings. Staff was good. Tables were dirty, floor was dirty with spilled food, ac was not working. In Texas, that is a big deal. Also, they were out of ice for drinks and onion for burgers.

This place could be great if they would develop a efficient and clear way of processing their orders as recieved. I have been here half a dozen times. It doesnt matter if they are slow or busy, everytime it takes over 30 minutes to make 2 cheeseburgers. This leads me to believe there is no real organization in what each persons job is and what they need to do. They have the potential to be great but most people wont continue to try them if it takes this long each time to make a simple order. I hope ownership/management really looks into fixing this. If other comparable places such as short stop can do it so can this place but it will require redirection. Editing post. Waited for 40 minutes in drive through line, i was the only one there. Told the lady to make sure no onions, got home and onions all over burger. Called back and was told the owner and manager (Barnie) was not there. I asked for a refund and was told i would have to come back up there, then the girl i was speaking with hung up on me. No words. I will make sure i never give this establishment 1 dollar again and i will make sure everyone I know, knows what kind of service to expect if they waste their money at this place.

These burgers & onion rings are delicious! I ordered the Cajun Burger, no tomatoes & my husband got the A-1 Burger no tomatoes. We both got tomatoes. 🤷‍♀️ mine had mustard, which I did not request & it's not listed as part of the toppings. They were out of crispy onions for the A-1 burger. But we still enjoyed the burgers & onion rings! We will definitely go back!

Good little burger spot that I have never heard of before. A nice step up from fast food joints. Got a double A1 burger with tater tots, and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. Definitely give this spot a try.

I tried out Wayback Burgers today after hearing so many good things about this place. I was not disappointed. The burger was made fresh to order. Perfectly grilled and fresh veggies to top it off. The cinnamon toast shake was made with real ice cream and was delicious. And Dawn helped me while I was there. She went over & above for customer satisfaction. It’s hard to find superb service these days but Dawn was amazing. I will definitely be coming back to try the breakfast.
